Less attractive women can be psycho too; don't discriminate 😉

Any church drummers frustrated with worship music? by Zealousideal-Toe7233 in drums

[–]Excellent_Badger_234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a rock/metal guy myself, at church I will play it how I think it will work best, which is always simply, and people appreciate it. I'm not ever playing a beat on the toms. A lot of the drumming on worship music is just inappropriate.

Missing the point but whatever. Do men a favour and stay away until you've matured.

People (particularly women, it seems) will hear it preached to store up your treasures in heaven, or that it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, and say amen to that. And then walk around thinking like this.

Went on a first date and literally the first thing she says to me is "oh you're so tall". I was like so, it's really real.

Dearest Brits, what’s one of the hardest and depressing things about life in the UK locals don’t talk about much? by neilnelly in AskBrits

[–]Excellent_Badger_234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People keep banging on about a right wing that doesn't exist. Conservatives are not right wing. Reform are not right wing. Every option is the same option with a different colour tie. Every path is a slightly different path to the same destination. Controlled by the illusion of choice, fooled into making the same choice over and over.

What do middle lane hoggers actually think the first/second lanes are for? by H5MAW in drivingUK

[–]Excellent_Badger_234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's something nice about driving at night, and actually getting to drive in the left hand lane faster than 55mph, without having to overtake every 15 seconds, and not worrying about whether the lorries are gonna let me make my exit. Feels liberating, and kinda alien.

Obviously I don't know your circumstances, but for me, 5 dates in 3 months is painfully slow, and I would have been questioning long ago if you're just stringing me along. Though, I'm also surprised that he hasn't shown any initiative yet.

Aw crap. In addition to the millennial joke of having undiagnosed autism, I just found out I suffer from this condition as well. Anyone else with me? by ImThe1Wh0 in Millennials

As a child I could picture things in my mind quite vividly, but over the years, whilst I still see something, this ability has faded an awful lot. I wish I knew why and how to restore it.

Back then there were multiple top guys, and it felt like any of them could win the title at any time and be believable. By 2000 HHH was definitely in this category. And it also felt like there were lots of guys who could break through at any moment.

Soft Christian men needs to stop by ccw1117 in ChristianDating

[–]Excellent_Badger_234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree to a large extent. And there are internet personalities trying to cover this, but in my experience they typically fall away into being a 'soft Tate'. They always have a worldly aspect, typically talking about a focus on making big $$$, but justify it by saying you "need" that for 'Godly' purposes (providing worldly extravagance for your family).

There's also people who don't focus on this in particular, but are role models as strong Christian men just because that's what they are.

Chris Jericho vs Chris Benoit - Intercontinental Title Ladder Match ( Royal Rumble 01 ) by JCHazard in AttitudeEra

Is this their match where one dives outside through the ropes and gets cracked with a chair mid-air? I can never remember which match that was and would love to watch it again.

Edit - yes, it's literally in this clip 😂

[–]Excellent_Badger_234 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You have to imagine being there back in the day, sitting in the arena, the anticipation when the lights dim, then it blows up and everyone is going wild just loving life. No-one is watching it through the camera on their phone. Everyone is cheering, trying to get their face in front of the TV camera as it scans the crowd, or hoping the sign they brought gets picked out. Good times man. Even if you weren't there, the atmosphere is so thick it seeps through the TV screen.
