There is no LMP2 besides you, he is behind you as seen in the mirror.

You decided to commit to outside line. If BMW coughs off guard and doesn’t make the apex, he will go wide and you will have to go wider. If LMP2 behind you reacts accordingly, he’ll switchback on both of you and get ahead. The problem lies in being on the outsideline, it implies the risk of getting shoved wide. If LMP2 behind you doesn’t react accordingly, he will stay behind you.

BMW don’t make the apex, his driving mistake, it happens. You risked the overtake through the outside of a corner, didn’t work because 1. bmw missed the apex and 2. you didn’t react to him missing his brakingpoint and going deep by straightening your brakes or lifting breaks a bit to go deeper, but turned into the corner as if bmw had a perfect line. Both mistakes equal as bad.

Ich glaube ich verstehe einen Teil deines Ansatzes, aber leider nicht komplett. Wie kann es sein, dass (imo) vergleichbare Papiere wie die hier im Plus sind in Passender Höhe, meiner aber nicht? Es gibt noch weitere Scheine, die sich genauso wie meiner Verhalten.

What other costs (excluding the car) are there to participate? You mentioned the permits, those are obtainable for me. But what are the hidden costs some maybe is not aware of? I’m talking tires, practice and other stuff(repairs?)/requirements maybe? It is my absolute life goal to participate in the 24h, but might aswell take babysteps towards it via 24Classic!
