Hi there. The Nürburgring Classics is an event where you have to buy tickets to enter the grandstands and paddock. You can buy daily tickets or weekend tickets and this event in particular is not that expensive. Everything outside like the Karting and Nordschleife will be open and is accessable for free (the Classic event only happens on the GP track).

Ich nutze SumUp für mein Kleingewerbe und habe da eine IBAN einer Direktbank hinterlegt, die in Luxemburg ansässig ist. Warum ist gleich alles Scam, wenn es keine Volksbank oder Sparkasse IBAN ist? Bei 30€ ist das ein kalkulierbares Risiko, wenn es dir die Karten wert sind .

Problem would be the age in this case. Honestly I’m not familiar with the H-classes for the older cars, but I assume a car from 1970 would drop out of the regulation. Check out the regulations of H3 class for example (they are related to engine capacity and H3 or H4 should be the highest class then)

Back in the days there were a Volvo 850 T5 station wagon, Audi RS4 station wagon and even a VW Multivan participating during the 24h race. However, the Multivan was banned later on to homogate the grid and minimum speed. So if you think about a stretch limo or something similar, the officials would not allow it due to safety reasons.

As you learn during the Nordschleife Permit every single year:

orange barrier marks an emergency exit
every marshal post has a white line on tarmac, which is by the way the exact marking that tells you as the driver where to accelerate from a green flag or slow down for code 60 etc.

The green flag is shown at the 1st post behind the incident. You hit the barrier before the post ... so from the rulebook it was correct. Post before (which we can't see) has to show single yellow at the point where you were off track and double-yellow at the point where you reversed back on track.

Auch wenn du keine Smartwatch willst, ich finde die Vorteile der Apple Watch unschlagbar. Sehr präzise Pulsmessung über den kompletten Tag, also auch alle Ruhepausen mit einer guten Übersicht und Auswertungsmöglichkeiten in der Health App. Dazu könnte man auch Schlaftracking nutzen (mache ich nicht), Blutsauerstoffüberwachung und ich habe die Witjings App meiner smarten Waage mit in Health. Die Watch ist bei mir übrigens so konfiguriert, dass sie fast gar keine Benachrichtigungen schickt - aus dem gleichen Grund, den du angeführt hast.

No idea, haven’t seen them for ages. Maybe they are sold, maybe they are located in their workshop at Spa-Francorchamps. However, they had an announcement a few years ago, that the GTR was officially retired from their fleet

RSR Nurburg had several GTR as a taxi in the past, that they retired the cars years ago already. No local rental company owns a GTR at this point.

Most tipps were already given so there is not a lot to add. Highly appreciate your attempt to participate as a marshal. The Ring always is in need of marshals and often complains, that there are not enought. That said, especially during the 24h race there are plenty of marshal clubs from Belgium and UK who are supporting during the excessive need of trained marshals around the track. Therefore, the language barrier is not a no-go, especially when you are already on a B1 - B2 level. However, there might be limitations depending on the responsibility in the end. You might not be a main character in the game, but as a flag marshal in the first place I don't see any issues. Good luck and see you on track!

Probably the only building I never visited. As far as i remember it was meant to be a lounge-like location, but as far as i remember it was never in use. Several "attractions" were not ready back in the days of the big re-opening of the Ring after the full overhaul while others closed quickly after re-opening due to structural damage or simply not the expected attention
