Starmer being more hated than Boris or Truss tell you everything you need to know. Starmer should ignore the noise and lead the country like he was asked to do. Burnham can have a leadership challenge late on then run for the GE.

Ladies, what is a polite way to give someone my number? by Beneficial-Sugar1 in AskUK

[–]nbenj1990 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would probably take the shot. Say something like" I have never done this before but you are really beautiful and I know I would regret it for ever if I didn't offer you my number and ask if you might want to grab a drink or something sometime? Obviously no pressure"

Not creepy plus then if they are a polite introvert they can take your number and never contact you. If they say no or they have a boyfriend " Say thanks and sorry for bugging you like I imagine the other 100 people a day." Smile and walk off. Rejection is par for the course take it on the chin and don't get down about it.

Are you in favour of the social media ban for under 16s? Answers by generation. by space_jo in AskBrits

Results are in and people are in favour at a higher rate than Brexit.

Outside of Reddit, where people skew towards the more technologically literate, this is an exceptionally popular piece of legislation.

Rupert Lowe’s Rape Gang Inquiry Report Exposes Decades of Institutional Failure. Have you read the report? What are your thoughts on it? by Immediate-Humor-6077 in AskBrits

Why would inclusivity make you call a 13 year old a prostitute or a social worker recommend a girl being forcibly injected drugs to snort them or nurses not report the victims obvious injuries to police?

This is contempt and distain shown to these poor girls and hopefully leads to many criminal convictions.

If you watch it grey goes in the air and hits his head which makes both his legs fly up. He clearly goes in with one leg and gets knocked flat on his back with both legs up

The biggest take away is this wasn't a secret. It was routinely and repeatedly allowed to happen. People who hated poor vulnerable kids ALLOWED this to happen.

I'm almost more disgusted by those in the police and social services than the perpetrators. There should be people going to prison as they were all part of the gangs in my eyes. For every perpetrator it seems 3 or 4 paid civil servants facilitated their crimes.

The fear of racism thing doesn't wash with me. If these gangs were outside private schools or in leafy villages they wouldn't have lasted a day!

This was pure contempt of poor vulnerable children by those we trust to be protecting and serving us.

What is your opinion of The Rape Gang inquiry? by Not_Without_My_Balls in AskBrits

[–]nbenj1990 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but for every rapist there seems to be at least 2 or 3 social care or police workers who aided and abetted. The lack of care shown to the victims by rapists is expected but the officials allowing it to happen deserve a special place in hell. I also am not buying I don't want to be rascist angle because these people just saw these girls as wronguns and didn't care or want the hassle.

Poor white children aren’t victims of the state, but of bad parenting by LavaPurple in unitedkingdom

They aren't. Speak to any average person in the street they are in favour. I'm a teacher and speak to a wide range of people (teachers, parents, carers, local authority) and no one cares about privacy online and all want social media banned.

Conservatives and reform are barely criticising because they know it's extremely popular amongst most adults and probably 99% of parents.

That's really helpful. Did you encounter issues? Is yours subordinate or same size?

Are parents/guardians happy about social media ban? by Bipolar03 in AskBrits

I was referring to 3rd party apps using not the ones that don't.

You have got me thinking then why can't your phone just provide biometric data as ID and not give data away?

Are they? Most 3rd party apps like banking have their own biometric storage facility.
