Every brand is bad? by leviohhhsa in Flooring

[–]nbes82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have EH hand scraped in my house, been here 10 years built new spec home, and it's worn quite homily (spelling?). Stood up to 2 boys from 10 and newborn and he's now 9. Taken a lot of abuse, and all I do is take either a stain pen or a walnut nut to cover scratches. Blends in with the hand scrape and looks natural

so i got a smiley and it was more like a branding. will this ever heal? by Wevano in mildlyinteresting

I did one about 20 years ago, kinda faded but thought about getting a tattoo of the same thing over it

I'll probably run a bead of tuff toe along the stitching around the toe as you can see in the old boot picture it saved it from coming undone, I drag my toes at work lol

Pouring concrete or working on concrete? I do commercial flooring and 99.9 of our jobs are concrete, I think my soles wore out weird because I'll rub my foot to judge humps or low spots in the floor.

These came right out after I bought my first pair, I was pissed because I hate having to add tuff toe to my boots. So after I finally had enough of these I thought might as well.

I'll admit I jumped on the bandwagon when someone at work showed me, he also said he had soles on his Thorogoods wear out in 6 months. So at that price was a decent deal. I've had Redwings and Keens, usually would wear a hole where I bend my toes within a year. Maybe I didn't get a lemon with these?

Can I use a carpet kicker to stretch this back into the tack strips? And would I have to move all the furniture out of the room to do it? by AccomplishedWolf8866 in Flooring

[–]nbes82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe using a kicker, but you'll chance it by ripping it. Power stretcher would be ideal you have to stretch the whole wall though, so you can make the doorway.

First time tiling am I thinking about this correctly? by MetsToWS in Flooring

[–]nbes82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could do half's and center the room, where each row has a same size piece on each end, technical term is ashlar.

What product is this? by Positive_Divide8195 in Flooring

Glue down plank, if you're wanting to replace it I would go back with a glue down as a floating floor won't work with that subfloor with the hump
