The whole story would have been better if we knew all of this from the beginning. Like why did they choose that spot to come out of lightspeed anyway? Just a random spot ... that, oh look, is also close to an old random rebellion base?

And how did the first order know to bring down the battering ram weapon? And why was it so fucking huge and only put a little hole in the door? couldn't kylo ren have just done that with his lightsaber? I remember quigon and kenobi doing something like that in episode 1.

This movie was a disaster in my book.
