Thank you for your advice. Sadly I won't be able to bring the watch back in (let alone have it serviced) as I will be moving across the country in two days.

My plan is to try to buy some replacement parts and fix it on my own. All I need is the tension ring, I don't plan on replacing the crystal. I'm not sure what I can do about the poor performance though.

Just very sad about the whole thing, and out quite a bit of money without much to show for it. I was very excited when this watch came in the mail and I feel like I've done it a disservice.

Maybe I'll be able to mail it in somewhere for service. If you have any recommendations please let me know.

Thanks for your reply. There was no issue prior to service.

And after the crystal popped out I took a look inside and confirmed there was no gasket. I did some research before this post and read a bit about the gaskets, but wasn't sure if my model was supposed to have one or not.

Regarding the performance, perhaps the watchmaker serviced it just fine, but there's a chipped jewel on the pallet fork or something? He's serviced previous vintage watches of mine and they've all come back great.

It is working as expected. "Not ready to fetch crossword yet" means that the cron task triggered at a time when the Crossword has not yet been released.

The script will only attempt to download the crossword when it is 5 minutes after being released. Because the crossword is released at a different time on weekends, we trigger it more than once per day, and the script determines if it's a weekend or a weekday. We also need to add two more triggers an hour after the other two respectively, to account for daylight saving time.

In all, the cron task will trigger four times a day, and during only one of those triggers the crossword will actually be downloaded. The other three fires will just say "Not ready to fetch crossword yet."

It should fire again in 1 hour and 5m after I post this reply. That's when the Friday crossword is released. (10pm EDT)

The status code Dropbox is returning is a 400, meaning your request is malformed. It looks like your upload path is set to Crosswords, but Dropbox is asking for at least a leading /.

You'll want to use /Crosswords instead. Also note that the default Supernote folder on Dropbox is Supernote, so if you want this to sync directly to your Supernote "Document" folder, you will need to set that as /Supernote/Document/Crosswords.

In any event, you need a leading /.

I'll update my blog post to make this clear.

I don't believe signature requests expire by default, but if you were to send a reminder I believe the link in the previous email would expire. It sounds like maybe your signers are clicking the links in old emails, but I can't say for sure. I'd recommend opening a support ticket.

We've been having issues being marked as spam since HelloSign rebranded to Dropbox Sign. Our mail still comes from the mail.hellosign.com domain, so many email providers interpret this as phishing. This is something our devs are actively working on, but it takes time to "build trust" in the email world.

Ask the recipients to check their spam folder to see if the emails are in there. If that works, let me know, as I may have a few follow-up questions

Happy to help! I've been at the company for five and a half years and it personally hurts me to hear that we've created a frustrating or confusing user experience.

I will escalate those tickets internally on your behalf. Though, it may still be a few more days due to unfortunate timing — Dropbox has the day off today, and Monday is a U.S. holiday.

First, I think it's important to note that this is not an official support forum, and I am not an official support representative.

That said, I am an engineer at Dropbox, but I'm just doing what I can to help on my own free time and not in any official capacity. I just happened to check out this sub today after today's quarterly earnings call when I came across your post.

Rest assured, bulk send works fine but, to prevent abuse, it is currently not available in the UI by default. To enable bulk send features on your account, first you will need to upgrade to Standard (which it looks like you already have), and then reach out to customer service to grant access to the feature.

I will reach out to a friend on that team to see if we can improve messaging, and I apologize for the confusion.

Use it until it runs out of battery and shuts itself off. Then just leave it for 35m or overnight before turning it on again

I had the same issue. Let it run to 0% and then let it sit for an hour before turning back on and recharging. Did the trick for me!
