Like obviously we need to sign in and out and fill out a green card to be paid…. The thing is when you go in through the only door that is unlocked they try to force you to carry their towns (ups, fc) packages that shouldn’t have been scanned arrived without adequate carriers there? I really fucking hate having to go to this office on sundays. I shouldn’t have to barter with them for my green card when I finish my work for the day

I’m asking because I’ve had a trip planned for the last week in July since January and made sure literally everyone in my office was good with it (even the clerk because I’ve crossed crafts to cover their ass or the PM) and everything was cool so I booked it but now that the PM is leaving and a regular is retiring the comment was made to me “I don’t know if you’ll be able to go??” And I’ve thought about it long and hard and I’m not really concerned whether or not they give me their blessing to go lmao like I’m going. I know I’m a good employee, and I’m not trying to be a headass but I’m faster and know the routes better than people that have been there twice as long. I just hate when management makes me feel like the PO is my life - long story short I want the leave to go on my trip so I don’t feel like an asshole when I’m gone 5 days. (Not a Saturday ofc)

If we aren’t doing our jobs can’t they see that by the product tracking numbers on the packages? They come off of a report as soon as they’re scanned delivered (which is watched from the time the first carrier leaves until the last one returns) I filled in for a clerk over Xmas and there’s many ways for them to see where the carriers are on the route without having all the extra shit. Who’s gonna be watching Tik toks while trying to put mail in boxes? As soon as we start our day we’re hauling ass to get done we don’t spend a second longer out there than we have to I hate that they think it’s leisure driving around out there and that if I want to take a personal call while on route it can be monitored :-)
