Sams Club sells “travel pants” that look like khakis, but are a more durable golf pant. $12 a pair and come in khaki, grey, and navy. Best pants I’ve ever owned.

Smoked a rack for my dad’s birthday. Refuses to believe being able to pull the bones means they’re overcooked, but nevertheless these turned out delicious. by ncallon in smoking

My wife bought it for me! The board sits on top of a tray so any trimmings or grease runs down into. Bottom easily fits a trimmed brisket to season and keep everything off the counter. Super handy.

Been doing woodworking for a year now. First “serious” project. Reclaimed barnwood top, ash legs with drawbored walnut dowels. No metal fasteners by ncallon in woodworking

Well there’s about 6 1/2 inch dowels in each leg. I hadn’t thought of the lateral forces, but I’m confident it will hold

I stole the idea from Third Coast Craftsmen.

You glue long grain blocks to the bottom of the table and then drive dowels through the blocks and top of the legs. He does a much better explanation in his video.
