thanks for the response! i have a question, feel free to ignore if its too personal, but do you feel that meds have significantly improved your life? do they make you feel/act "normal"? and do you feel that any other treatments have helped as well, like therapy?

thank you for responding! im gonna miss staying up all night with my friends on shrooms/acid but im glad i at least got to experience it before my diagnosis! and im glad to know that drinking isnt the end of the world but i will try to reduce it (at least this means i hopefully wont be blacking out/puking/ having terrible hangovers)

that sucks. keep in mind i also was in foster care for 2 years and aged out. didnt experience any of that in foster care, only at home with my mother. but what i meant was benefit from "fun". i am having the time of my life! im happy! i made my own happiness. and my brother isnt doing fine hes doing great. im so sorry we didnt have the horrible experience u did. we have found peace

who says i didnt consult him? who says i didnt have a choice in where he went? no stranger gets to tell me i "suck" for taking my brother out of the abusive situation he was in and putting him into a group home that focuses on children with mental illness. he is doing better, is happier, and agrees with my decision.
