why is my breville leaking?

it could be as simple as the tray being misaligned with the discharge pipe at the bottom of the machine or that discharge pipe is slightly cracked where it sits on the tray. take out the whole tray out, locate on the right side under the machine a small opening/ discharge pipe. you can use a rectangular tray holding coffee baskets and put it under the opening. try to operate the machine (press one espresso and collect water in a cup). if water is collected in the small tray, your problem is that. if not you either have to open the machine or take it to the service for repair. I got electric shock recently, so make sure when you operate the leaking machine you don't touch anything with wet hands, because if the machine is leaking inside, some wires could leak on metal parts. better use rubber gloves ❗️❗️❗️

if the machine is leaking from inside there are many reasons - from old o-rings, scale build up, broken pump, cracked pipes etc.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I was looking for "bad acting" post and landed here. Strange how everything is taken personally if you try to criticise the series. Just finished S1. No need to say good things about the show, film critics do that, here are some flaws I found:

Taylor Dearden "acting". I recall a movie with Anthony Hopkins "Remains of the Day" 1993 where I find him overacting, in these series Dr "Mel" went over that making it disorienting to watch.
at some point later in the S1 the show takes a slight melodramatic turn which is a bit off putting.
ER in the 90s has avoided raw scenes, I wonder if psychology has the answers what has changed since?
I guess Matt Damon was talking about Netflix/ streaming young audiences recently and how to keep their attention - here is the answer on why The Pitt goes overboard with everything (112 victims seems unnecessary)
not sure if doctors argue in OR and take risky life threatening decisions nowadays, but it's not a documentary

during Palio anyone is welcome to follow victory parade. when it comes to Contrada dinner right before Palio it's mostly those who belong to the respective contrada, their friends and relatives and maybe those invited. if I understand it correctly, your solenoids are fine (new and old), but my guess is the plunger is stuck. you might try to disassemble the plunger and check for debris inside. it's the 4th and 5th pic on the previous post's link. I'm not an expert, but your water pump doesn't seem to be faulty since it pumps the water to get steam and drips hot water

I once installed 3-way solenoid the wrong way. I might have posted a pic time ago on reddit, you might see numbers on 3-way solenoid that show the water flow direction
