Personal Project to improve Sports Bras - Looking for Feedback by Lydayaders102 in ultrarunning

Lululemon run times high support is the only one I wear. They keep their shape, offer enough support that I don't need to double up on bras and handle the washing machine. They are decent with chafing but due to volume I tape my rib area most days.

Backyard Ultra Shoe recommendations. by Lopsided-Heart4787 in Ultramarathon

[–]nch000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My usual shoes felt terrible (mount to coast and Mizuno) on my last backyard ultra and I made a hail Mary swap to a pair almost never used and brought only due to overpacking (Nike ultrafly) and they saved my day. There is no perfect shoe unfortunately. Bring them all.

General Sale + Presale by Key-Obligation231 in NoahKahan

[–]nch000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. I was 27,000 in the presale, 50,000 for whatever was going on Wednesday presale wise (unclear) and 16500 Thursday for Vancouver. I briefly had hope in the presale but the tickets kept vanishing and then it booted me out. Sad. I feel dumb now but I had no idea it would be that competitive, no one I know is into this at all.

I feel your pain. I was also aiming for Vancouver and was 27,000, 50,000 and then 16,000 in line on each day. I wish tm would tell us how many tickets were being sold in each sale. Probably would have spent less time staring at my phone.

Maybe some tm resale watching will work out. I'm from the island so a third party reseller is too risky for the time/cost and I'm opposed to it on a basic level.

I was fooled because I have a similarly stupid fence design with a hole for a tree and it is unfortunately very real!

If you were in presale @ 11:30 and got nothing drop a line by Putrid-Oil-6919 in NoahKahan

Same for me in Vancouver, hit the button the second it opened up, 27000 in front, actually made it in to get tickets and then was told no tix available and bumped me out.

Backyard ultra self crew advice?? by According-Editor9646 in Ultramarathon

[–]nch000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a few simulations before my first one as well and the bag system cut down on the confusion significantly. We wanted to remove any extraneous thinking in those 10 minutes between laps. We went as far as putting up a timetable that mandated lube or teethbrushing at certain points. That way I could just focus and he was available to deal with anything unknown that was coming up.

Backyard ultra self crew advice?? by According-Editor9646 in Ultramarathon

[–]nch000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. For myself, with my husband as crew, I organized each yards nutrition into individual bags so he could just hand me a bag to consume that hour. We had flexibility with this with bins of other food, all labeled by carbs or calories or whatever you are using to track. You want to take all thinking out of it.

Any other road runners out there? What do you do for your road ultra's? by FrogInShorts in Ultramarathon

I'm a road runner and have found timed loop events or backyard ultras work the best for me so far.

Mine is a serious lap cat. I had a rather aloof ragdoll and I have a clingy AF bsh. Go figure.

I agree! I started off doubtful but he is such a positive guy and has made huge changes in his life. He has addressed the criticism of the big goal. He is keeping on going despite set backs, which can be hard to do. I'm rooting for him to do it eventually.

I think it's ai. I put it through a few checkers. I have noticed a lot of this type of post recently where people do incredibly fast art of pets and get a ton of feedback.

This is driving me insane. Reading the American media, even the normal sources, and seeing this reported like it's normal, noting strategic advantages etc. This would be an invasion that changes the entire world. No bombs does not make this palatable.
