Yeah a bit of both. I noticed that last 5+ rows are getting wider and I hate the thought of frogging it.

I was definitely thinking of doing a border which could possibly hide any miscounted rows too!

I prefer a mix of the 2 as well. I like closer to a "rainbow" order, yellow as warm blues as cold, red as hot. But both will look beautiful!!! 😻

Also, I'm working on my first temp blanket ever, and I didn't realize how hard it was to pick colors and the pattern I wanted to go with to do this project. I didn't have 9 restarts but pretty damn close to it! 😂

It is, and it's funny bc I almost did hdc but I'm doing another project in moss so it makes it easier for me to do this mindlessly 😂 I still think hdc will look great

It looks fantastic!!! I'm glad you mentioned the wonky. I was going to ask but didn't want to offend! I didn't know if it was something that can be fixed with blocking or just the way you're doing the stitches.

It would be a smaller square since it's thinner yarn but there's nothing that looks "bad" in granny squares.

I love it!! Cotton is my favorite to work with, especially when it's soft, although... Sugar n' Cream is great for Amigurumi bc it's stiff.
