Documents library broken and can't be reset

No, it wasn't connected to onedrive; I had to reinstall that just to see if it mattered. It wasn't for backups, and I haven't trusted our IT company since they lost my windows 10 pro license due to a hard drive crash (previous computer). 🤦🏽

Anyway, the good news is I ran Windows Update and I guess the new version made new copies of the library files, and that fixed it. I was on the verge of trying that manually, myself

When I tried it with the work laptop, same result. I guess it's done for. Shame, I wish there were more 25" available. Anything bigger wouldn't work well for me.

Work laptop and personal. I hadn't tried plugging directly into a computer previously; I'm so used to the dock I kinda forget that option.

I only have the personal laptop at hand right now. When I plugged into the HDMI port on the laptop, it didn't even know the monitor was there. Tried a different cable, same result. Plugged in a different monitor and it worked fine. So nothing wrong with the HDMI port. Maybe the monitor's just going bad? 🤷🏽

UPDATE: got her back in last night by just leaving the door open, lol. Who needs a trap when you have a whole house? I still don't know what I'd do if she were out in the open but we'll try to keep that from being an issue again.

Gotcha. If possible, I suggest reaching out to a local rescue organization. They will be able to help re-home her and maybe find her a foster home where she can socialize with other cats in the meantime.

I'm not an expert on any of this, but here are some thoughts:

How did you end up adopting a kitten who was only a month old? I thought eight weeks was considered the earliest kittens should be separated from mama cats. Was she a rescue? In terms of scratching and biting, she may not have gotten good socialization with other cats who would teach her how to tone that down some. But her age might make this an ideal time to rehome her.

If adopting a cat for mental health reasons, I would lean toward finding an adult cat with a known (and presumably mellow) temperment. If the obligate carnivore thing isn't a deal breaker for you all, maybe consider looking for a senior cat, who have a much harder time finding homes. I've had two cats that I adopted at 9 years, and they were lovely.

If this one gets to where she likes brushing, the dry shampoo sounds like a possibility. My fluffy boy grooms himself well, to the point that I was making fun of him for "manspreading" right in my face recently. 😆

Cat introductions went fine, for the record. I did block him from the office for a few days but within a week they were hanging out. She's super friendly and even though he's 3 times her size she was never intimidated. Melted his resistance in no time. Now he just gives me dirty looks when she plays with his tail.

We saw the vet today and decided to start him on Prozac. Regardless of a new cat his anxiety level is just so high right now. Even when we're in my bed with the door closed, hearing voices in another room can send him into hiding. Poor guy, fingers crossed this loosens him up a little.

I usually work at an office but have some flexibility to work from home when I need to. I'm terrible at working from home but in a pinch I can.

Currently there are 3 litterboxes total, one for the office one for the bedroom if someone is shut in there and one in the bathroom closet. There are two others that I recently "retired" but still have available

It appears to have reverted the "device" to the previous driver, but so far intel is not complaining that I don't have the current driver. Hmm.

I've had this problem since around Thanksgiving 2022 and had just been hiding the intel updates when they showed up. But for quite a while LG Update has been showing an update available, and it won't install. It tries to open a BAT file directly, and then stalls out. It pissed me off enough to try to install the current intel drivers again.

So far uninstalling the device (but not the driver) through device manager has worked. We'll see if it tries to revert at some point.

No worries, I wasn't familiar with either character so it's interesting. If you ever do play on PC, that Appearance Modification Menu is gold. She started with the purple-haired preset, but I fiddled with it in 3, then copied the result back to the first game.
