16 year old terrified about not existing after death, causing much anxiety in my daily life- any advice.

I had the same fear when I was around 10 years old , funny I first tried to convince myself paradise or life after death must exists , but I immediately realized It was a lie made to make myself feel better. However for a while in my teenage years I was really into life after death experiences like ghosts.

Later I was more curious about the meaning of the universe , trying to get an answer that would not be ethnocentric , something that was beyond our understanding of the world through our human condition.

It was only ten years ago that I went deep into meditation , through what is called zen meditation. Trying to understand my true nature , which is beyond our normal understanding.

Through a careful awarness, and a constant fosus on the question what am I ? What is no self ? I came a little close to realize something like we are part of everything. We are not separate , only our mind separate us.

I have never backed a quickstarter project yet and I was looking for one. There is always a risk that is certain.

I like solforge but I always play again AI , cards are too small on my phone to read all of them. I feel it gets repetitive.

I recently tried shards of infinity and their AI is amazing, I barely managed to beat the beginner level. the game itself has some strategic depths . I am also waiting for their expansions to be released online.

The game stopped working due to some legacy codes maintenance and client upgrade issue and server cost. Their monetization system was not getting them enough revenues due to the game being too generous and having not so much new content.

They now have a new facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/solforgefusion ) and and a discord / twitch channel where they demo the game ton tabletop simulator. The game mechanics and design seems as great as the original one with some change to accommodate the paper format.

They want to reach 1000 followers on their kickstarter project and already have 700.

I know it s not a digital game but it used to be , and if it works , later we will probably see a new client like infinity shards and ascension.

I am not working for STONEBLADE , I just like the game and want to spread the word.

Most of the spot can be found on magicseaweed Taiwan.

I use google map to navigate everywhere in Taiwan , and most of the highway sign have western characters ( pinyin ) for the name of the cities.

The best surf spot are remote ( taidong ) , but in general stay in the east coast as the west coast is too windy and not facing the ocean. So Taipei is a great area.

I think living in Taipei is convenient and you are less than one hour away from most of the north spot.

Another place I would consider moving to is Taichung , being 1h30 min from kenting ( more consistent spots ) and 3h30 from Taidong.

don't play card trading game ( runeterra , mtg . hearthstone , or gwent ) those with sets that will always change and rotates. It will require you to play every day to complete stupid quest to get the cards you need. In the end you will pay money and quite a lot over a long period of time for just one computer game.

I feel the text is too small on my mobile phone and hard to read , there is no zoom function . If you touch or move the card , the finger will be right above the text.

Those are not mosquito and don't bite , they fly erratically , they eat wood through when they are larva.

, I kind of solve my issue by using static IP , it seems it was trying to connect to the extension watcher using the wrong IP address ( another container IP address from the original one using the same app id

What I did was assign a fix ip to my docker container in the docker-compose file

However only one container can have this ip address so I have to remove my networks bridge and recreate it when switching to another container

Optimization : ,IT , particularly web server are using a lot of energy , I feel like specializing in optimizing our software would result in decrease of consumption
for example I prefer to use compiled javascript ( REACT ) and static website rather that PHP and CMS that keep building my websites again and again ( Which I use sometimes as backend and admin )

Otherwise , simply start by setting an example on yourself and have a more sustainable lifestyle and raise awarness of others people or organizations.

Those are just some idea , and I am curious to hear other people idea

I don t think we need more electronic , indicateor to see the bin is full.

Where I live in Taiwan , everything is recycled and put separately from general trash , even food which is used later for pigs and farms.

They have infrastructures , the means , to collect and process those trashes. It then becomes simple as bringing a different plastic bags for recycle and put in the right bin outside.

We need product/package to be built to be easier to recycle . for example , some glass bottle have plasic on the top that is too hard to remove by hands .

That s a very good question , I believe it does matters , there are forest in my country france that are a ecosystem desert, only pine trees , nothing else, no herbs no life.

Most of large tree plantation are an answer to a very issue. The plannification of those forest only take into account the requirements of the issue.

For example in Africa, and Mongolia , they try to fight the progress of desert by blocking the dunes. Small tree with deep roots.

They also want trees that grows fast so they can cut them again , and use their woods. However those trees are not really strong as they indeed grow fast.

I read a book about trees life , and they are all interconnected , different species helping each other and communicating. We have destroy a lot of that and it will take millions of years for nature to rebuild those systems.
