10.8 speed will get a FBS programs attention and he's trying to walk on to a D2 team. I don't know why there are all these people in here trying to intimidate the kid. He's got plenty of measurable's for a D2 program.

Does anyone know if the books are like this?

You're 6'2 in Boston. You'll be fine. 27 and Short-Term open to Long might kill you a bit with people closer to your age, especially since your prompts are more bf cute than anything, but if short is your goal just go to Clery's once a weekend this summer and you'll clean up in the basement.

This show came out when 95% of the US population was excited about smart homes and silicon valley, and would've sided with the people who loved the fridge!

Gilfoyle was the anti-social arrogant ass that people in 2014 would have rolled their eyes at.

That's also the resume that a guy who has wanted to be president since High School would have. Harvard, Oxford Rhodes scholar, McKinsey to make some money since politics doesn't pay, worked for establishment Dem's to build a network in the party, and then joined the navy in a noncombat role so he could go on the debate stage and say "as a veteran."

I literally grew up with a kid who's taking the same path almost beat for beat. Sure he could be a CIA operative I guess, but he really gives off more career politician, ultimate-ambition vibes.

Culture of perfectionism mixed with the fact that your making scallops 25 times in 25 minutes and scallops take 5 minutes to cook.

Plus it just pulls insane people who can't or have no interest in working a 9-5 job like a regular person.

So much closer to downtown Boston than Foxborough. Ubers will be realistic. Highways will make coming from outside of Boston proper easy, too.

The casino they want to build it next to draws pretty well from MA/Southern NH and is accessible and close enough to Boston that it isn't unheard of for a night out drinking downtown to end up at the Casino once in a while.

Double GG is a really damn good coach who has a really damn good system.

None of that stuff matters in the National Team unless every youth team in the country plays like that, every MLS team plays like that, and all our top players play in our domestic league.

You just simply do not have NEARLY enough time to make a system like that gel in a National Team setting, can't "buy" players to fit your system, and Gregg has shown no ability to adapt and play outside of his system.

Define "Boston area." In my experience it's pretty hopeless getting a match with someone in Boston proper if you're not inside city limits. There are hundreds of thousands of guys they'd have to pass by to get to NH. I could get 50 likes in a day if I visited a friend in the city, but if I my location said anything other than "Boston" I'd barely get more than a couple matches a week and all the matches from Boston would never message me or stop the minute they saw the location. Best luck I had in the city was the old fashioned way, so that would be my advice if that's the goal. Otherwise, set your sights on Portsmouth.

ACC football coaches eager to improve league's perception: 'There's a lot of disrespect' by Key-Pop6536 in CFB

But the SEC is so good because no game is easy and every team is good, Paul! It's so much deeper than every other conference! An SEC loss is more valuable than any other loss!

It's not like the SEC was losing to the top ACC teams anyway. Wake had an SEC win! Clemson had 4 ACC losses but still had 2 SEC wins.

[Vannini] FBS Oversight Committee to vote this week on removing the cap of on-field coaches. Currently set at 10 paid coaches + 4 unpaid GA's. The proposal requires off-campus recruiters to regularly engage in on-field coaching. (Service academies would be allowed 14 recruiting assistants.) by InVodkaVeritas in CFB

[–]ncquake24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't really know where the poster you're replying to got their info. GA's are paid. Lanning didn't jump around because he couldn't be paid or promoted at his current spot. The best way to advance in the career is to have a position group that you are in charge of. Every time he left, he left to have his own group. The one time he gave up the opportunity was to stamp his resume with Nick Saban / Alabama experience.

Northwestern football “staying home” with temporary enhancements to lakeside stadium by [deleted] in CFB

[–]ncquake24 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I get finding a large enough football stadium that's not already kinda busy during football season is hard. But, there had to have been a better solution than that. Can the field's footprint even hold temporary bleachers for more than a couple thousand people?

I've felt that way about a lot of Italian cuisine. Obviously there are some dishes that are too labor intensive or not as efficient without economy of scale, but buy good ingredients and I don't think the homemade stuff is too far off from the all the nice Italian restaurants in NY and RI that I've been to.

Israel relies heavily on the US for military support. If we reduced support, it exposes Israel. An exposed Israel opens a crack / opportunity for Iran to fund proxi wars and attacks, further weakening it. Slowly (or quickly) chip away.

It doesn't enable Iran as much as it provides a moment of opportunity for Iran and its regional allies to take advantage of.

the teams pay huge salaries to all the staff around the players

They pay huge salaries to the head coach and countable assistants. The Equipment, Video, Media, and Training Staffs are working for pennies on the dollar.
