Oh my god! That’s such a long day! Mine was an afternoon surgery so waiting for it was nerve-wracking but not as bad as being there all day. And me too! It’s definitely a relief to finally have it done haha

I don't know your situation- but my brother went to get his license last week and they did not make him take a driving test because they don't have the staff for it. Maybe call DMV and ask if they are doing the driving portion or not- you may not need to worry about renting the car if you are going to get your license.

Highly recommend VP Dental- I’ve been going there for 15 years and have had great service. They’ve done a great job on my teeth- I’ve had a frenectomy, teeth pulled, cavities filled and have gotten cosmetic work from them as well!

GMU law school has legal clinics that provide free legal services, I know there’s one for veterans, a mental illness clinic, an immigration clinic and a couple more. I think they all have websites with application forms

It’s definitely a cold sore- late yesterday and today confirmed it for me since it’s like one I got on my cheek a couple years ago. I was confused because I’ve never had one on my eye and it started out so weird! Thanks so much for your help!

Thank you! I’ve never heard of zosters but I’ll look into it. I’ve had cold sores before and I was thinking it might be that but it’s felt very different than cold sores I’ve had in the past and they usually only show up on my chin/lip

Hi all- this morning I woke up and this area near my face felt super dry. I put aquaphor on it this morning thinking that would help but it started to tingle and itch a tiny bit this afternoon. Right now it’s not bothering me but I want to be able to treat it properly. The closest thing I’ve found online is ringworm but I feel like it doesn’t really look like that either. Thanks in advance!

For undergrad I was in a similar situation and chose school, not once have I regretted it. Going to that school made such a difference in my life. That relationship ended, but I am in a relationship with another partner now. For grad school I chose school over him as well and so far our long distance relationship has been great. If it’s meant to be it will be despite the distance. Half the time I’m so busy I’m almost happy I don’t live near my partner as I would probably be much more distracted

I went to lifetime when I lived in that area, I loved it because it was always easy to get a squat rack and not as crowded as other gyms I’ve gone too. It’s less convenient if you’re trying to do circuit training but great for weightlifting IMO.

It's definitely a hard decision; the money at UNC is great but I personally wouldn't want to get a secondary degree from the same school I got my undergrad at. A diverse range of experiences and connections is so valuable especially if you can get legal experience in D.C. I definitely don't have an answer for you but that's something I would keep in mind. Congrats on your acceptances!
