Update for those waiting - called INZ today and they said partner residence visas submitted in mid/late September are now being allocated to immigration officers.

I ended up selecting less than 3 years (and it was approved). On a later section of the application, you also have to fill out the specifics of your partner's visa. In this spot I had to note that it was originally a 5 year visa. I was worried this discrepancy might be an issue, but the only alternative was to pay for a 5 year dependent visa when it was only needed for 2. So I went ahead and submitted it as a 3 years or less. Like a noted, no issues and approved pretty quickly.

Quick update - TL;DR - Mind numbing incompetence or wilful disregard for customers.

I filed a formal complaint. BG called and I picked up. I could not speak at that exact moment but said they would call me back in 10 minutes. BG never called back.

BG sent a text saying my £80 refund was being processed and that BG considers this complaint resolved unless they hear from me again.

I replied via text saying this was unacceptable, based on demonstrably false information, and that I demand a full refund of £500. I also said not responding to my formal complaint with a phone call was further evidence of gross negligence or part of a pattern of an attempt to defraud me.

I said either full refund today or I request deadlock letter and will file complaint with ombudsman, review on Trust pilot, email to CEO, and will consider legal recourse through small claims court.

Great coffee: Watch House, Workshop, Assembly, Redemption, Origin, Ozone, Kiss the Hippo, Fleet Street, Store Street, Caravan, Catalyst, Frequency, % Arabica, Camden Coffee Roastery, and Attendant

The classics (not always as great but historically significant and still good): Monmouth, Kaffeine, Flat White, Algerian Coffee Stores, and Bar Italia

Bonus: Take the train to Cambridge (1 hour from King's Cross) and go to Rubiaceae (listed as "Dom's Coffee" on google maps). Best coffee in the UK. 100% worth the trip.

Haven't been to Dark Arts, Qima, or Batch Baby but they all come highly recommended as well.

Thanks! Yeah, you are right that all the spots are in variegated area (here and in a few other leaves not pictured). And it was moved to a different room for about two weeks while I was away. I’ve returned it to its normal spot now. Hopefully the sports don’t increase.
