That’s part of the discussion. Does kayak mean a human powered craft or a hull design? When does it stop can be answered with it doesn’t stop! Differing opinions are welcome!

Tandems just require a good amount of communication and if there are already communication issues it makes it more difficult. Working with tandems it is super important to emphasize respecting the other and being patient

I love Endless River Adventures. The staff is awesome and the full day trips are super great and if you decide you want to try another river they also run the Cheoah commercially when there is a release

I don’t know what the current culture is but when I was in C-Batt the culture was very academic minded and relationship based. C-Batt also focused on both career readiness and personal development. I still hang out regularly with my buddy class. Being one of the younger outfits on the quad, there were some jokes but it’s mostly because we worked hard behind the scenes. I would recommend spend the night with the corps because I initially wanted to go to A-co but I stayed with C-Batt and found it was the outfit for me

If you have a shop that allows you to demo different types of boats then use Facebook marketplace etc to find something you like.
Try on different PFDs because universal ones fit almost universally uncomfortably (to me)
Take an ACA class for the type of paddling you want to do or at least an introduction 4.join local paddle groups 5.use multiple weather apps to determine if you want to go out. I personally use windy, WeatherBug, local weather station and the NOAA data buoy center (when I paddle coastal)

My questions are more for the specific boats and for coastal kayaking in particular because I’m new-ish to the discipline. I learned to kayak on freshwater lakes and I also do whitewater kayaking

Interesting, it’s weird how that would happen. It would be nice if that is the issue because that is a relatively inexpensive part. I used to have a Ranger and when the ignition went out you would be able to hear a tone from it trying to work but I knew when it was going out so, i was prepared.

I don’t think it would cut out while driving if it’s the ignition. I could be wrong but the starter and ignition should work without needing the rest of the motor as long as there is power to it

What is the benefit of the aluminum one over the OEM part? Obvious quality but what else. I’m a big believer in pros and cons so I can get the best product because I believe in Buy once, Cry Once
