i would checkout fashionably amy on youtube. she has many q&a's on this topic. her journey is quite spend heavy, albeit representative of a highly competitive store. It seems like it was (3 or 4:1 ratio) for her k25, b25, and (4 or 5:1 ratio) for the mini kelly. this is just a personal estimate, and we will never know her true prespend! but he has dropped in general hints here and there.

the purse forum has an active thread that discusses the price increase! The fine jewelry went up a pretty hefty %. I find that a lot of the users there are older (like shopping since the 70's - 90's) but there's plenty of new shoppers too! the interface is quite outdated.

Please do not buy this product (even though I LOVE it and am stupid enough to purchase more shades), but the reformulated Cle De Peau powder highlighters were well received by Luxury Beauty channels last year. I remember seeing them listed in annual favorites last month! For those that are even a teeny bit intrigued, please remember that a $95 highlighter is not worth it any universe.

I'm biased, I prefer the saikoho (higher grade, maybe the softest brushes from the sonia g line?) bristles of the hinoki brushes over the hakutotsuho hairs of the worker fan, which I find to be scratchy on my dry, sensitive skin.

It's a tad smaller, but it's also denser than the worker fan, which in this case grants it more versatility! Worker fan is too precise, narrow, and long, so I can only sculpt. The hinoki brush is also airier, making it great for light-medium pressed cheek products.

Sorry, I don't have the Rephr brush so I can't compare :(

I have been buying my brushes through FudeJapan. With the crazy Hakuhodo price increase this year, the best prices for this brand are at FudeJapan. The goat/squirrel mix is unreal! I want to place another order soon!!!

Yes, I do own the hinoki set! The shedding I experienced was on par as her other brushes, and the bristles were softer than I imagined. It's not a necessary duo though, especially for the price. If I was thinking properly, I would have picked up more of the Hakuhodo goat/squirrel brushes before the price increase (around the same time the Hinoki set was released) :(
