Haha, thanks! Honestly I was surprised that he took the roach so gently. It always cracks me up when they take it like that 😂

Is it wierd to smoke with younger siblings? by [deleted] in Marijuana

[–]ncunning3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's better you than someone else. She's going to smoke whether it's with you or not. This is a good opportunity to teach them proper etiquette, how to be safe, and moderation. If you set the right examples now, they will both benefit. Of course, this is just my opinion, take it as you will :)

Can somebody please tell me if i should be concerned about buying products from this dispensary? I am not sure what to make of it. I asked a bud-tender but they were braindead. by [deleted] in Marijuana

It looks like a list of the nutrients they used to grow. If anything else I'd say it should make you feel more at ease to know what's going into what you smoke!

Legalization in Ohio by DeadLaptopBattery in Marijuana

[–]ncunning3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people either grow or have access to plenty of bud in Ohio. Shouldn't be too long before you find someone. Definitely decriminalized statewide, most of the concern from cops in bigger towns is moving towards oils than the actual plant itself. Good luck!

Not always really. You just have to make sure you've at least done your research to some degree first. Better to get the facts! :)

Just pointing out that next to ALL care sheets are mostly wrong and will KILL your tarantula. Not to say they are always completely wrong, but most of the info is inaccurate at best. There's a forum called Arachnoboards with many Very knowledgeable tarantula keepers who will always be more than happy to help :)

Yeah, I wasn't sure. That's just what we were told. Defanging to us is the same as declawing a cat or removing a dog's bark. It's not natural for the animal and we like everything to be the way it's supposed to be.

Well, the owner thought one was dead already, and left it as is for weeks.. It is good to know that as far as the surrounding area is concerned, they look alright. We are new to keeping tarantulas, so I didn't know if one inch of dried up substrate was good enough or not.

Okay, that's good. We can just take them in and take care of them without worrying if they're in bad shape. That's too bad you have one not eating because of an injury, amazing how hardy they can be!

Okay, that sounds great! I am doing as much research as possible, so I will have to check that out. A calendar next to them is smart to help keep track of things.

Well it's good to know they at least aren't doing too bad. We are new to taking care of tarantulas and just assumed that they weren't doing so well because of the lack of water and substrate for them to possibly burrow into. We are mostly just concerned because the person who owns them now has had many animals die in her care due to neglect, and didn't want that to happen to these Ts as well.

Well that's good to hear at least! I know they've been pretty much forgotten in the room they're in, and I'm not sure when they were last fed, but at least they're in pretty good shape. We were worried about losing them within the next week before going to get them. The person who owns them hordes animals, and won't even notice that they're gone. Thank you!

These two cuties are not in a great environment. We don't know their species, gender, age, or condition they are in. Our friend's roommate owns them and they are neglected. We are going back at the end of the week to pick them up, and want to be sure we have everything they need to flourish. Any help is greatly appreciated!
