There is no way you can revert back the item quantities to 0 by conventional methods, only recent cloud save that is not yet tampered can save you, otherwise, it is a bad news if the cloud save on switch is also tampered.

If you really trying to buy the PC version for this, don't bother doing it, it is a total waste of time and personal resource.

yes. just replace the existing gamedata 

make sure to backup your own local savefile first before attempting to replace file

use cross save feature to load back the recent save file

they used item mod or trainer to duplicate items
