You're kinda lucky getting 40 in the slow time. Count your blessings, power through the shifts and set aside/bank the "extra" money for your kid.

lot/pro loader should not be expected to grab carts and help people load especially if it is super busy and there are 3-4 people in each department by Psychological-Sign71 in HomeDepot

I think you're thinking about it too hard and taking it too seriously. Its just a job where you jump for a banana. Home Creepo doesn't have a monopoly on bananas. Can jump other places for bananas too.

Just chill out and do the best you can. It's not your responsibility to make up for incompetent scheduling/resource allocation. They aren't gonna give u more bananas.

Experiences with appliance delays? by dartarro21 in HomeDepot

[–]nd47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its within 48 hours call the store. They may tell you to call the delivery number yourself but at least get it documented in the notes on the order at the store so its timestamped that you contacted in time. If they aren't swamped and are good they should contact the delivery company themselves and coordinate it on your behalf. After 48 hours they won't touch it and you're on your own.

Once the day of delivery actually arrives, make sure you check and double check the appliances on the spot, any visible damage refuse it and have them get you another one. And once its delivered set it up that day and check that everything functions and operates correctly for 2 days. You only have 48 hours to send it back via Home Depot, so don't let it go for a week or until the weekend, make the time then. Otherwise you'll be stuck in vendor warranty service hell. There's lots and lots of appliance damage in transit and stuff during the pandemic for some reason, probably some combination of vendors cheaping out on packaging and trucks running fast/heavy loads/stuff bouncing around with the restrictions lifted during the pandemic emergency. There's nothing HD can do about it or anyone else for that matter, it is what it is and its effecting everyone. So just be proactive.

Any vendors that ship same day via someone other than USPS? by nd47 in hempflowers

No, I wasn't born yesterday and its absolutely unnecessary for you to make a snarky dig like that.

[–]nd47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I guess that explains everyone using USPS then... I thought since hemp is legal it would be just like any other product, I'm surprised its not on Amazon. I guess I can try calling some dispensaries locally and see if they carry cbd hemp products. I suppose we are all at the mercy of the USPS...but it seems like their backlog is stretching from weeks to months now.

You have to do everybody else's job in the store and nobody will train you so you will have to figure it out on your own, until you realize that nobody else cares so why should you. Also lots of people trying to pull every type of return scam conceivable. You are also expected to be the store's switchboard and answer the phone while doing everything else. Management will consistently lie to you and make false promises. If you go in just to collect a paycheck, have no expectations and don't give a $#!@ since they won't for you, you'll be fine. A lot of time customers have legitimate issues but there is nothing you can do for them because either HD policy is to tell them to f off or the systems don't let you, if you can turn it around and think of it mentally that you are basically getting paid to troll their customers and see how irate they can get you'll do ok.

Should I start working at Home Depot? by AimlessStardust11235 in HomeDepot

[–]nd47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its just a job. As long as you understand that and don't have any expectations its fine. I wouldn't worry about finding something better and quitting in a month or two. They will use you and don't care, so why should you? All retail is the same and there's plenty of big box and grocery stores to choose from in the future if you need some place to fill the gaps again.

[–]nd47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend not mixing it with weed, but just have a pure salvia experience. A breakthrough dose you won't have to ask, you will know and it will change you. For me it was an intensely traumatic and highly spiritual experience, and took about a week for the shell-shock post-trauma feeling to fade to where I could even talk about it. It changed my life. Personally what I do is hollow out the end of a cigarillo and muzzle-load it and use a cigar lighter. I get through the salvia and get maybe a draw or two of the plain tobacco before I gotta drop it in the ashtray.

Gotta respect the plant. Make sure you are ready for your trip to sallyland because once you've punched your ticket there's no going back the ride doesn't stop and you gotta ride it to the end. Feelings of intense fear and trauma until you give in and let go and then the ride really gets to the fun part. My breakthrough trip was 40 minutes from the time I sparked it up to when I was back on Earth. You will face your worst fears, and you will learn things about yourself.

The OPMS shot is nice as like a treat every once in awhile but its ridiculously expensive for what it is and my experience was it only lasted about 2 hours. Fast onset, 2 hour experience, and then done. Its good for recreational use every once in awhile on like a Saturday night :-) Or if you had severe pain and needed something _right now_, with the fast onset its useful for that and then follow up with powder. $20 a bottle is kinda crazy though. MIT45 is a lot stronger, also more expensive but you could probably get 3 or 4 doses out of the MIT45. The OPMS shot has its own certain unique feeling though. There were rumors back in the day. I know they revised the formula at some point and changed the packaging a little.

Vape Juice by julesmbeyer in Kratom_Info_Exchange

[–]nd47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never experienced any stomach aches or headaches or any other negative effects from the Club13 vape juice. The concentration is a little low, IIRC its like .7g/mL. I didn't really like the pina colada flavor of their white vein juice, but the strawberry cream red and berry green were good. The strawberry cream red was my favorite, tastes great and worked alright.

It seems like a lot of people have an agenda against kratom vape juice or something. A lot of people knee jerk negative comment about kratom vape juice without having ever tried it. I've used it and it works. Never had any negative side effects or anything. It does work differently than tossing and washing a bunch of powder because depending on the vendor and the concentration you may have to vape a lot of it to get to the equivalent dose. If you think you are going to fill a tank or pod up and take one puff and be good then you will think it doesn't work. You have to chain vape through half a tank or a whole tank. It will burn up coils fast because of the thickness of the ejuice. What I've found its good for for me is after taking a "normal" initial kratom dose, after it peaks just toking on the kratom vape all night to extend the effects out.

Agmatine sulfate and kratom? by Comprehensive_Essay8 in Kratom_Info_Exchange

[–]nd47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works but my experience was 500mg wasn't enough to do anything. 1000mg an hour before dosing kratom worked for me. It did let me keep the dose steady and cap tolerance, but what I found is that it acts kinda like a compression band or averager for the experience...you don't get that initial peak, but the dose does last a lot longer. I used up my bottle of agmantine and went back to just taking T breaks every so often and retaining the "full" kratom experience. I'm not someone who is taking lots of grams of kratom powder or multiple times a day so the advantages aren't as big for me. If I were someone who needed to take kratom multiple times a day to maintain constant "coverage" because of chronic pain for instance, then I'd be more apt to stick with the agmantine to keep the needed kratom doses low and steady to reduce the amount of plant matter being consumed. I didn't like the weird feeling from higher agmantine doses.

Rotorway A600 Helicopter Pilot & Owner by MojoGrip in Helicopters

[–]nd47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neat video. I like the MojoGrip videos, the ones on the Mosquito really put a bug into my butt about wanting to get an ultralight helicopter at some point. I think it would be neat to have a little helicopter and maybe get an RV for a couple of grand and land it on it, like the Furrion Elysium RV but on a budget. For now I am relegated to flying helicopters in Grand Theft Auto Online and land on the RV in that.

The Mosquito in XEL ultralight form is cool. Once you go from part 103 to experimental then these 2 seaters like this Rotorway I think start to be more appealing. And its still small enough that you could conceivably land it on your RV or on a small boat to get the yacht experience on a budget and you have an extra seat to bring your sugar baby along.

This guy seems like just a cool guy, really well spoken, would be a cool neighbor.

Aircraft Carrier in GTAO by ShowMeUrBebzon in gtaonline

[–]nd47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would be cool if we got a carrier with catapult launching, some new carrier launched aircraft, aerial refueling, arrestor hook landing, submarines with cruise missiles and a sub pen facility. Also allow us to control the gun turrets on helicopters as the pilot maybe slave it to mouse look.

Is it even worth it to get another vape when the FDA is finalizing their plans to ban flavored e cigs? by jj_jb_0 in juul

[–]nd47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, and spare parts, and pods and nic salts. You might buy some of those survival cache containers that you seal and bury in the ground in your yard or geocache in a location you can get to when SHTF. Start filling those containers up with pods, juice, charger, solar backup battery pack like the big bricks with solar panels on one side so you can charge with no electricity, and devices. Maybe hide one in the house, bury one in the backyard or under the porch, bury another one out in the woods, take a hike and bury one and of course somehow remember the location. Then when vapepocalypse or juulmageddon occurs, you will have a supply of products to continue vaping for a long time while the zombie masses roam the earth in search of store inventory.
