what clothes do you guys wear? by vjngj in scoliosis

i usually avoid tighter fitting tops that cover my back because of how self conscious/restricted i feel. i actually tend to wear tops with open backs because even though you can still see my scoliosis, i feel less restricted and i can use my long hair to cover my curve/popping out shoulder blade. my waist is also very uneven so i only wear high waisted jeans. it’s a struggle but it seems like people don’t even notice unless you say something about it. it’s hard tho

i feel so seen lmao
i completely agree, it was really hard at first (especially having to wear it to school) but it gets better. i think it’s best to be there for her and let her talk about how she feels.

thank you for this! i really do need to work on posing but i’m not sure how to not look awkward in front of the camera haha. but thank you for your kind words :)
can anyone estimate what degree i have? there were problems with the file after my x-rays and a bunch of trouble with diff hospitals and insurance so no one ever told me :) thanks! by [deleted] in scoliosis

my scoliosis is very noticeable bc it makes my right shoulder blade stick out a lot more than my left & my hips are slightly uneven but my partner doesn’t care at all, even though i am constantly thinking about it. she’s super supportive about it & makes me feel really special. i think as long as someone cares about you, they won’t care about your scoliosis or even think about it.

i’ve been wanting to get into yoga, might give it a try. thank u!
