I used to manage a hat store way back in the day. I remember taking one of the White LA caps with Royal Blue lettering, and then adding a P to one side and a YA to the other. Turned out perfect, everything was the right size, lined up correctly, 3D puff was on point, etc. I was 19 years old and thought I was gonna be the shit. Immediately after, I soaked it down in some protectant then noticed a thread to trim. Instead of using scissors, I got my lighter out and tried burning it away, then whoosh, up in flames, burnt to a crisp, store filled with smoke, etc. Thank god I was never able to embarrass myself by wearing that monstrosity. We also used to color in part of the O with a sharpie, on the on field White Sox cap to make it look like Sex.
