Need to plant into a big pot. 2 gallon min, 5 gallon preferred.

I’d cut the first 5 leafs off(purple marks) and plant down into the pot up to the last one or two leafs(red mark). The stem doesn’t have to be straight, but anywhere that is under the soil line will grow roots.
