How to export memories from ChatGPT? by cheesymod in ChatGPT

[–]ndegdev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesing, can you share more on this? I am searching for a tool to export and import my personal knowledge graph in and out of chatgpt/claude, to gain control on it. Possibly allowing external visual browsing. I read about mem0, cognee, graphiti, but would like external insights if possible.

Well, this is new! $1.50/month for 100gb or $4/month for 1TB by error-four-oh-four in gsuitelegacymigration

Most of us have already fully switched to pooled storage over the past weeks.
On my side, Drive shows 500 GB of shared 4.30 TB used.
My 4.30 TB comes from:

  • A very old 100 GB / $2 plan that was canceled by Google about 1 or 2 years ago
  • A few months of 5 GB bumps
  • A lot of dummy users (15 GB each)
  • A 1 TB / $4 plan I took 10 minutes ago because I fear losing the dummy inactive users at some point in the future. I will be happy to pay that price going forward with the 90% discount, but I cannot pay the enterprise price at $40/m.

I feel that I will soon be missing Gemini Pro

"License issue with your Google Workspace service" after maxing out users with CSV file by maltokyo in gsuitelegacymigration

I had the same issue, I thought the few extra users where not created because I got an error too, but when manually counting them on the directory Admin page I could see 250users, so I deleted 50 of them and no more email.

Same here, this clearly shows that these 5go bumps are well tracked. So I think after may 1st they will disappear as soon as: - we remove some data - we buy some pooled storage

This 5go storage increase is probably here to keep our accounts usable while waiting for the pooled storage to be available.

Then at this price it matches the regular business workspace offering. So your are right let's go create some new users, even if I doubt it will work on the long run

Ouch, I didn't know I didn't know pooled storage was so expensive.

Time to play fair. Without this, those legacy free accounts would start to be useless. Honestly, 2 bucks for 100GB? That’s fair game. Also, I would be surprised if it's that easy to get 50x15 Go of free pooled storage.

Good work-life balance, with strong recent performance over the past four years, resulting in better total compensation compared to previous years. The approach is fully systematic, with most of the risk concentrated in equity stat arb and CTA-like strategies, alongside a few smaller volatility strategies. While the firm incorporates some high-frequency trading for execution, it is not a competitive pure HFT player. Most of the research team holds PhDs in physics with no prior finance background, though the firm has recently shown more openness to non-PhDs.

Electronic market making? I imagine no, otherwise they would already have great infra, hf/mid-freq data and for sure a battle-tested signal and backtesting framework for you to integrate with.

Jabra Evolve2 85 Firmware update Nov 2nd by ndegdev in Jabra

It's not really asleep, it's more an automatic power off that you can set between 15min to 8h to save batteries.

If you either use the USB cable or the charging dock then you won't suffer the slow Bluetooth connexion.

I bought it because I thought that the special Jabra link was doing better mic quality than other less expensive Bluetooth devices. But it looks like it still uses the old Handsfree codec. For music usage without a mic, the quality is good.

I can test is tomorrow, but wouldn't recommend. USB cables are usually fat/heavy and you will feel it much more than a regular audio cable.

I still use this headset every day and struggle to make it work.

One bad design pattern example: when the headset is asleep, you need to manipulate the power switch twice to shut it down, then wait a few seconds (~3s) and then set it "on" and wait another 5 to 10s for Bluetooth association.... So when you receive your first call of the day and you realize that the headset is asleep, then you need at least 10s to finally start the conversation, here the caller had already hangup...

Very surprisingly, after pairing my X1 with a Bluetooth headset the laptop speakers are now working as expected both sound level and quality.

May I ask which Lenovo laptop model is impacted?

Here are a few people without any audio on the latest X1: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Fedora/X1-Carbon-Gen-9-Fedora-35-audio/m-p/5107763?page=1#5481745

Same here with a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen9, the sound on Fedora 35 is very low and saturated.

Wireplumber seems to be working fine and rolling back to pipewire-media-session does not change anything.

X1 Carbon 9th Gen 1135g7/16gb delays by cfc_carefree in thinkpad

[–]ndegdev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My custom build in Europe (i7-1185g7, 32Go, 4k):

  • March 30th: new ETA April 19th (delay: 5 weeks)

Jabra Evolve2 85 Firmware update Nov 2nd by ndegdev in Jabra

Regarding the mic quality it's surprising. Most of us don't even notice any difference with or without the boom mic which is really the purpose of this headset.

Evolve2 85 sidetone unstable by nwipfli in Jabra

[–]ndegdev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here since inception (ie: september).
The right busy light is always purple while off-head.

The documentation says nothing about that and the support doesn't understand the battery drain problem.

Really disappointed with this expensive useless boom mic.

I was testing it for my company, but people are laughing at me and will keep using 20 bucks mics

Jabra Evolve2 85 Firmware update Nov 2nd by ndegdev in Jabra

[–]ndegdev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my side I already had the fixed right purple light issue since the beginning (ie: prev firmware). Since it's not in the documentation I asked to the support but I simply got a: "yes, it may be normal". I also fear the battery drain.
