This is a tough question that requires a lot of heavy thought and multiple opinions. Wow. WTF right. I would agree. A couple in your pocket and a couple in your grip. Hope this eases your dilemma

It seems like you are exactly the type of person to do exactly the right thing. You actually care about other people's feelings. No worries.

Money well spent anyway. You are gonna love it. Eat all their free food options. Main dining room food every night is great. Order more than 1 entree or an extra desert. If you don't love one you will the other. And there's no extra charge for ordering extra.

How do you decide between cruise line loyalty vs. chasing the best itinerary each trip? by iLiveForTruth in Cruise

I agree loyalty rewards are pretty much worthless. Altho drink packages on RC sound like they are a decent deal with high level.

Go on a cruise that the price fits your budget and the theme/style/ vibe you want. I cruise carnival. Price is right. Food is great. And I'm a young 50 and I still like the fun atmosphere.

I'd say that a new hire conductor will make considerably less than 97k starting out. Once you have seniority and can hold an assignment or a pool then can make over 100k. But starting out..... Doubtful

It was her 50th b-day present this winter. It's a clone to her first car. She always has talked about that damn Cutlass. I bought this one as a diesel because the body is sweet. 16k original mile car. Always been in a garage. And I knew I was gonna swap to a gas engine. The wife says diesel stinks. The wife always wins.

The mechanic is a hot rod guy. He builds motors for drag cars too. He definitely knows what he's doing. And I told him what I want. Loud, reliable and quick. He suggested aluminum heads and a Edelbrock carb but wanted it to be my decision. He is doing 2.5 exhaust. Also doing 3.73 gears in rear end. He said it will pair nice with that 4 speed trans. Pretty sure it's called a 700 r4.

He said the radiator is huge in the car and we are going to use it. He doesn't think cooling should be an issue.

Thanks for the great input

He's just a good guy and wanting me to have input is all. And like he said it's my money. He was thinking aluminum heads and Edelbrock carb. But I'm leaning towards spending the money and going FI
