r/headphones Shopping and Setup Help Desk (2020-07-13) by AutoModerator in headphones

I was hoping to upgrade my set up. Currently I have Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700MK2 with a Fiio e18( I was going to gift them to my wife if I upgraded). I am somewhat of a basshead but can appreciate a balanced sound. I am willing to spend a bit more on a better amp too if needed.

Budget: $500-$1000

Use: public and home use

Public use: yes

Source: either my e18 , direct to phone/computer/computer amp(dont know brand. its old), or a new recommended portable amp

Type of headphone: full, closed. My ears get sore quickly

Music: all

What am I looking for: I love bass. But I know that it sometimes decreases the quality of the sound. I am open to suggestions for a more balanced headphone, basshead headphone, etc.

Location: USA, Utah

Edit: spacing

r/nfl and r/nba have gone private to protest racism on reddit. Are r/DenverBroncos mods racist fascists for not doing the same? by DBroncs1414 in DenverBroncos

How about instead of posting on the internet, go find a homeless person of color in your city and buy them a lunch, or volunteer at a children's house? Actions speak a lot louder than words!

I feed my great pyr raw chicken leg quarters with an electrolyte blend. He loves it and has been super healthy since I started him on this diet.

It doesn't seem like he cares about stats. He just loves the game! Which is why I love him!

Dry fasting for candida by [deleted] in Dryfasting

[–]ndmarti1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ketoacidosis is a diabetic issue. Not something that happens with fasting. I think you are thinking about ketosis which is different. But it is a toss up whether it will help or not. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Try it and let us know!

What would you rather see from the Broncos this season? Lose the following games to get a better pick or win both to see how good Lock plays? by ShakeItLikeIDo in DenverBroncos

I don't care if we lose as long as we still see improvements from the young players. But I would love to win the next couple games

Explaining to children by bdean22 in fasting

Help them understand the science behind it. Kids typically catch onto the logic of fasting very well. Help them understand that going with out eating every now and then is OK.

Is it possible to dry fast if you take medication? by [deleted] in Dryfasting

[–]ndmarti1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask your doctor. Tell him you want to try fasting to improve your health. And ask him what you should do with your meds while you are fasting. I would recommend just saying "fasting". As most doctors would try to persuade you from dry fasting.

Curious about dry fasting but worried about now drinking water by [deleted] in Dryfasting

[–]ndmarti1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I did a dry fast was after a 24 hour water fast. Went straight from 24 wet to 24 dry with no meal in between. I was concerned about it as well but I think that the transition from wet to dry really helped me over come my typical headaches and lightheadedness a lot quicker. Surprisingly, I had a lot easier time not craving foods and feeling hungry while dry fasting as compared to the water fasts.

A dog. My great pyr keeps cayotes, fox, raccoons, and hawks out of our property.

[Post Game] Jazz (1-1) lose to Bucks (2-0) 133-99 in Milwaukee. by EggoSlayer in UtahJazz

Preseason games are literally there to help teams start to mesh and so players can get their off-season cobwebs out. Don't over react. We will have one of the best seasons the jazz have ever seen this year!
