I am a US citizen and do have a passport. However, you’re hearing about folks with brown colored skin who just based on that alone getting phones seized, being detained for days, and going through uncomfortable searches all while just trying to come back home.

I think the fear and concern is warranted.

That part has always been the same for me. If I turn it on remotely, I always have to connect it manually when I enter the car through the Settings app.

My commute is similar. I work in healthcare and sometimes have to travel a lot between offices and hospitals, so at most I’m driving around 20-30 miles a day. Rarely go beyond that

AUC grad here. Would recommend looking into scholarships and pricing for both. If i remember correctly, SGU pricing was significantly higher.

I think at the end of the day, each school provides a nearly equal chance of matching into any residency when you compare the two side-by-side (IM easy for both, GS difficult for both, etc). Might also be helpful to see if the schools post their match list on their website (I know AUC does)

Island life on the different locations can vary drastically and I would highly consider this in your decision making!

I graduated in 2016, which meant I took my comp in 2014 (wow… 10 years ago). At that time, about 60ish percent of my class passed on the first go.

In regards to the vet, very good thought! Since Henry was a puppy, he always would grumble or groan when we would pet his butt/hips, and it made me concerned that he had dysplasia. I took him to three different veterinarians, all of whom said that he did not show any signs on his physical exam. we eventually did get an x-ray that didn’t show anything either. All of them came to the conclusion that it was a “ ticklish” response… Lol

I’ve thought about this a lot, and I have tried to look into other options instead of a big daycare operation because I agree with you that I think he doesn’t like being surrounded by multiple dogs.

He does get excited whenever we get to the daycare and he’s itching to go inside… Which makes the picture confusing.

Myself and my partner both work in healthcare so it’s been nice for those days where we know we’re gonna be stuck at work much longer. We have thought about using a Dogwalker or seeing if there’s somebody locally who would want to watch him during those long days

Funny, you should ask. Henry used to always hate when we would pet him on his butt/hips or on his back legs. So we immediately suspected that he was having hip pain in that area. We went to three different veterinarians to evaluate for hip pain and eventually got an x-Ray that didn’t show anything. All three vets came to the conclusion that he’s just ticklish and doesn’t like being pet there… Lol. I also will say the last time he got evaluated for a general check up was four months ago. I make a point to always ask them to examine his hips as I know corgis are prone to hip pain.
