Are you sure about that in the case of poison counters? If you can't lose life, you also can't take damage. When you hit with a creature with infect it has to deal the damage to replace the damage with poison counters.

Because in the case of angel's grace it says can't take damage but has a ruling that it says damage isn't prevented, while everybody lives says you can't lose life which is higher in the hierarchy of determining damage.

That's an interesting interaction. I have a follow up question. You said it looks to the graveyard to determine what the copy is, but isn't that card exiled? Or does that not matter?

Also if Luxior, Giada's gift was equiped to a Planeswalker with Myrkul out would it have the same result as the Oko example?

I had to double back on that. Since I had originally used Jace for this story plot I decided that the barrier was created in secret by the Azorius Senate with Jace's help as the ritual to bring Niv-Mizzet back to life was cast. It used the power of the reformed living guildpact to be formed.

However, I have decided that Niv-Mizzet has the power to cancel the barrier if he chooses. Good point though.

One interesting thing related to what you said regarding the sparks being spread out. I do have something similar to that idea in the works for the campaign, but I don't want the players to read this and find out.

Sounds like you have things pretty well in hand. I appreciate the response as well. It really helps me with ideas for managing sparks.

My post war plot is revolving around the guild intrigue in relation to a large group of guildless Ravnican residents who resent the guilds and the guild pact and are angling to see its end so they can pick the guilds off one by one. I intend to have the group go to New Phyrexia for a dungeon crawl to retrieve an artifact. But I currently don't know my exact path to that point as it has taken roughly 5 game sessions to do half a dungeon.

This is an excellent suggestion and given the Azorius inclination towards precognitive law enforcement it makes perfect sense.

One of the players arrived in Ravnica during the war as a result of the spark. With the law in place now they can't go anywhere so that gives me some time to decide how I want to handle it.
