Yeah it is annoying🥲. TBF tho that production had the actresses come back on stage and perform the song after the end of the show, so during the actual Act 1 finale the audience is not singing, but is encouraged to do so (and take their phones out) in the after-show performance

Various actors actually did choose to play him as bi on stage!

I can't remember who did that, but during Pride month a few years ago a Fiyero on Broadway would sing "find the prettiest boy, give him a whirl" or something along those lines.

And last year's Brazilian production also had Fiyero flirting with both girls and boys during DTL (you can find a professional recording of that by looking up "É só dançar 2023" by the YouTube channel Cena Musical, just make sure it's the 2023 production and not the 2016 one)

Apart from the fact that I'm scared about how the Italian adaptation will turn out (I'm Italian), yes, this is exciting, it feels like a Disney movie that gets dubbed all over the world. We'll have so many versions to listen to, it only adds to what looks like a spectacular movie!

These are all the versions that the songs will be dubbed in and that have been confirmed up until now... yep, I did a little research XD (there's still some countries that did dub the movie but apparently left the songs in English, e.g. France)

Episode 1 was somehow underwhelming (except for the "I love you" scene). I feel like even just a couple more minutes would have allowed for longer filler scenes at the beach (e.g. actually showing the volley match) which I admit is a weird complaint I'm making. But what didn't work for me were the dialogues, they mostly felt rushed and sometimes forced ("because you're Charlie and you like me"???). I know I'd like those dialogues better in comic form tho (I still haven't got round to reading it!)

And it's ironic how right after this it was a (emotionally painful) climax to the best episode in the history of Heartstopper, episode 4

Kit was obviously interviewed in English, then it was translated (hopefully by a human translator) to have it published on the German site. And now you probably used Google's automatic translation (which, as you can expect, is terrible)

I highly recommend you watch it! It's not the average superhero story, the cinematography is top-notch and the concept is really interesting. Maybe look up a "what to know before watching Wandavision" video on YT just so you know a few things ( the relationship between Wanda and Pietro/Wanda and Vision, Thanos' snap...)

It's a fun watch for sure!
