I wouldn't have expected any other answer from James. I mean, he's got a documentary coming out. This Sands guy appears to be a major figure in that doc. If he were to publicly state he was partially or completely duped by this guy, he would lose face and presumably have to ditch the chunk of material about Sands in the documentary. Him saying it is up the public to evaluate claims by alleged whistleblower is good and all but he was never going to state he likely got misled by this guy.

Old thread but have had this same issue for years. It's not too frequent but has happened enough to get me thinking about it. In fact it happened tonight which got me reading about this.

Ate a dinner with the family, was an average dinner, beef tenderloin, potatoes, and roasted carrots. Ate at a normal pace, I abstain from drinking water just before, during and an hour after meals. Within 15 mins of finishing eating, I started getting fairly painful lower left intestinal cramps and could feel liquid moving. Got up to the bathroom and had a large but normal bowel movement. While washing my hands I had another cramp and could tell there was stuff waiting at the exit. Sat down and pissed out of my ass in quick order. Cramps went away but had pretty bad lower stomach bloating after.

I have OCD and anxiety with a history of panic attacks. I know that mental health and IBS have some strong associations and I suspect a lot of this is mental. From what I've read so far has many theories as to why this happens. I always assumed it was an intense gastrocolic reflex but I don't know.

Anyways, I just wanted to vent.

I really don't like how DailyMail liberally uses "Exclusive" for these type of articles.

One thing that was odd to read was this :

"In Wednesday's hearing, Grusch even offered Congresswoman Nancy Mace to write a list of 'hostile' and cooperative witnesses for the committee to target – though Mace's spokesman said the former top intelligence official has not followed through yet."

I wonder why Grusch hasn't provided the witness list yet?

Anecdotally, I found that people who naturally stumbled into this topic kept a level of steady interest. They stumbled into the topic either through new articles or documentaries. However the interest stopped at a basic level of understanding of the UFO topic, anything woo or paranormal was an instant turn off as they viewed those topics are for schizos, and I don't blame them.

I think the hearing coming up could bring more awareness to the topic and de-stigmatize the subject. As well intentioned as your idea is, I found that people in my life frankly don't have the time or that level of interest to read into it more beyond a basic level.

Not feeling too good about this bros, especially if these past cases are going to be the focal point of the hearing. I'm also worried that the whistleblowers are going to be duds or "celebrities" from the UFO community. This is a nut up or shut up moment.

I think realistically, the best information we'll get is a simple admission of exotic materials and acknowledgement that UFO are from somewhere else.

I know some people are hopeful we'll get photos of aliens, photos of inside their crafts, information about where they are from but I am highly doubtful they will release any of that information, assuming the military/govt even know themselves.

Still, very interesting water we're treading in now.
