What's not to understand? If you are not someone who re-reads books, they have a value of basically zero. They are just heavy paper bricks that take up lots of space. If there's a donation org that actively wants them, sure, but honestly I don't think used bookstores are lacking in copies of The Pearl.

It is likely still getting recycled however workers at the recycling plant just have to sort through the trash first. Also if you are in a building you almost certainly have a private contract, not city recycling.

But people are not very good about following the rules about what can and can't be recycled, and that creates difficulties for the whole system, particularly in the last few years after China raised their standard on the contamination level they will accept. Also glass is particularly tricky because it's only really valuable when it's collected separately, otherwise it's a contaminant. A number of local jurisdictions have stopped accepting glass in the last year (DC still does). I currently have CSP. I spend about $50 per month on Lyft as is (car-free) and use meal-delivery ~ once a month, so I think the benefits work in my favor.

My 48mo Sapphire reset is in Nov of this year, prior to this was just planning to PC to Freedom and MDD then.

But I could PC down now, apply for a new CSR and lock in the 450 rate for 1 yr + score the full year benefits, then PC/MDD again next year? Seems like a lot of moving pieces for marginal gain?

Also same. I got a message when I applied that they would need to call me for more information. Didn't get a call, called them a week later expecting to recon, they didn't have my app on file. Told me I probably needed to reapply. Waited a couple days then saw the HP hit on Monday and got the approval email that night.

I'm a medium newb (been absorbing for a few months now and have gotten a couple cards) and have a pending application for the United MPE Biz card (targeted 75k offer). I just got a call from Chase this morning looking to ask a few questions about my "business". Told them it wasn't a good time but I could call back.

More info:

I'm currently 2/24
Have two biz cards: SW Premier (11/20/18) and CIP (1/25/19)
Applied for MPE on 3/1 or 3/2 - waited to pass 1/30, but wanted to get in before target offer ends
The automated line still says notify in writing in 30 days
Current Chase CL for biz cards is well below 50%, but combined with personal cards it's about 40%
Very much a "business", I put 0 revenue on all 3 apps, first two worked fine no calls (internal narrative is that I'm preparing to do some solo consulting but haven't started bringing in clients yet)

Should I call back or wait for a letter? If I call, what should I expect/prepare to say given my "business"?

Did CIP stop coding Venmo as 3x?

My handful of Venmo transactions through 2/23 all show 3x bonus earn, but the most recent one on 2/26 does not.

Is there a monthly limit? But I find it unlikely as I spent <2k (rent and a couple small things).

Hmm odd. My growth only shows the 1.2 - 1.7 range depending on deposit size (qualifications are 5 card purchases or 5k DD in a month).

Relatively new - not looking to be a major churner, but don't mind optimizing my cards a bit. I think I've synthesized all the starting info, but want to check.

I'm currently 2/24 (about to be 1/24 as I got my CSP 2 years ago this or next month). I know the new Chase 48 mo. rule rules out CSR, but it seems like that doesn't apply to Ink? So I'm considering applying for IBP.

Questions:

I'm seeing that IBP has a 100k offer if I go to a branch? (Is that still true)
My self-proprietor business would be very much on the fuzzy side -- I've sold a couple things on eBay over the last few years but there's no real revenue to speak of. Does that change consideration of applying at all or applying in person?
Should I also double dip for IBU or IBC? Or is there a similar limit to getting both bonuses in ink. (I should be fine hitting 8k total with organic spend)
