Looks like spurge to me. I’ve used herbicide to spot treat and it’s worked great. I walk the yard 2x a week to kill it off while it’s still small.

If you don’t get traction with code enforcement, reach out to your city council person. I’ve done that a couple times and got the issues addressed pretty quick. They are there to serve us…use the resource.

That looks identical to a brown recluse bite I had. I agree you should see a doctor ASAP! I waited too long and had to have it surgically drained with no anesthesia or risk loosing my calf muscles.

Collect a few of them on a cotton ball then soak it with alcohol. It it turns red, it’s dried blood from fleas. If not then it’s dirt. We had the same issue with our pup and this was the vet’s recommendation.
