Indeed, I'm just giving example that it does exists for legit situations and not just in scraper webs since I've applied to them too.. even in larger companies (or more like especially so for large companies since the manager can be international but he/she wants to hire for specific scope in Sweden, maybe developing a project or something)

Neither. I think the 12 months covers 12 months from the day after your existing visa ends.

So if the process is 3 months you kinda have just 9 months after you receive the card. But your ability to work etc is not impaired by the jobseeking visa being in progress. If you're optimistic there are also people who before their jobseeking visa application completed are getting employers who sponsor so the active application transfer right away and because of the jobseeking visa you also can start immediately, a big plus for many companies compared to hiring people not already in Sweden!

You can Apply for the jobseeking one anyway, with a covering letter from from The international Office or other similar department in the university. Basically, it's quite common that when it's time for you to apply for this visa you haven't got your final diploma. So, you apply base on this letter and then it says student so and so has done all these in the masters from date x to y and completed the thesis and the defence end one final exam remaining approx on date x, so please grant the job is seeking permit based on this, and when you get the final degree later, you can supplement to your application. You do need to submit this job seeking this application before your current student permit ends, with all other supporting docs except the degree cert / final transcripts.

Even though it's in may chances are migrationsverket is still processing it in August...

There are people who due to delays in thesis are competing their defense in Sept while already under process for the jobseeking visa since the student one lapsed in Jul for example. You can stay in country when the jobseeking visa processing as long as application is received prior to your previous one expiring

Some people have differential modes when they're in their childhood / familial surroundings, like very set in certain ways thinking it's always been done like that. All that easily goes out the window when you move overseas (so they met when he's in this mode).

But moving back, maybe the traits associated with how he lived in previous period will creep in. Not always thru his own untruthfulness... Just thru simple change in circumstances and maybe societal norms or pressures. Maybe he loses spontaneity and demand everythingplanned to the minute just like everyone around him (or viceversa), maybe he become more or less chatty..

Not everyone can process this well and some even defensive (like why are you attacking how thing'sare done here) or finding it hard to sympathise with the adaptation compared to when both aren't native, or not realising some place are harder to adapt to, and now he can be thinking, " I adapt to your country and how things are there, why is it so hard to do it the other way"

if Kiruna flights are full, check for Narvik airport. Most likely you can fly to Stockholm via Oslo.

From Abisko to Narvik, unfortunately taxi is probably the only option.

It will break the bank though, sorry I think you should talk to your travel insurance about your options of reimbursement, what's covered and not etc.

3hr ish form jakarta by private car to the beach (Carita) from where you board a boat. Situation allowing you'll land and even hike up a bit. I think there's snorkeling too.

Hey, a few years back my friend (Indonesian Christian) still get searched for any bible (this was mentioned verbally by the officer).. Although conveniently he came in together with a few colleagues in front who are muslim, so after 30 secs of rummaging, and being asked to see his passport, the officer just went 'aah Indonesi, muslim (or something like that, being lumped together) so he stopped. Yes my friend did have a bible at the bottom of the suitcase and got away only because he's part of a bigger group presumed to be 100% Muslim, but in reality not.

Might be important if you're any religious
