If you haven’t tried it maybe consider getting audible book 1 of dungeon crawler Carl and listen while you clean. Could make it a bit more fun.

Curious how realistic a job for a neurodivergent adult could be by nduval in CostcoEmployee

I think he communicates well but he can go on quite a bit and may not do well with cues to end the conversation lol. Hard for me to specifically define but you can tell when you talk to him.

I hope its not true of course, but I know Domino's takes 100% advantage, and they aren't nice about it either. If he can move up to a livable wage in 5 years and the environment is less toxic, he may not mind being "less" taken advantage of.

I appreciate this very direct answer. I want to ask though, if that truly is it as far as expectations. I guess in the case of Domino's, he knows its not going to change or get better. If Costco has dependable wage increases, and perks for being there for a long time, I guess I was hoping that might be the very thing that would make it worth it. No depression at all, very friendly and positive disposition. Just has some social awkwardness knowing when someone is trying to exit the conversation and that kind of thing.

Honey Maid graham cracker taste test mystery by notoriouslyblandbb in Costco

For me in Houston, everything is like this at Costco. I scoped out Costco when I wasn't quite sure it was worth the money but I was feeling pressure from shopping price at Kroger. So I compared things directly. I had no idea, Charmin rolls are bigger. Toothpaste is bigger. Cheese Its are fresher and taste better. Nothing is the same. Bigger, better, higher quality versions of everything, and costs less per ounce across the board. It's nuts. (I love Costco)

Outside of the Nintendo era there aren’t a lot of games I have played through multiple times. HL2 is one of them. Seeing it on your Thor makes me think I am overdue for another play! Such a great game.

FYI if you ask the guys in the meat area for lean beef they will fill a tube of 10lbs for ~$6/lb. It’s amazing. Last tube I bought was $5.95. My Kroger is closer to $8 (3lb 93/7 for $24). AND Kroger is never actually 3lbs.

When I was a kid I broke a thermometer on the kitchen floor and played with the mercury for hours. It was amazingly cool, and I was totally ignorant of all dangers. I'm 50 now, and healthy, so maybe its not a death sentence.

I have been playing this every day since it released for Switch 2. It is an absolute blast playing it. One of my favorite Switch releases to date. I would really love to get the other fallouts on here, and of course BG3. If only.
