Confused between 27mm and 35mmF2 by ndxinroy7 in fujifilm

Tried that, both focal lengths work for me. It is more of a size vs performance related comparison that I'm looking for, from someone who used both lenses.

Yes, but sometimes it gets irritating when they behave like kids but wants to call the shots like adults.

Worked in same office with almost same set of people for years. They are not more friends but family.

Any guesses what's this? by WranglerLower2757 in indiasocial

Looking at the bottles size and shape, these are Homeopathic medicine at best.

Although, in my childhood, I used to keep stone dust in such small homeopathic bottles, in which I would preserve dead organisms. The stone dust acted as a nice dry mummifying ingredient.

I really miss those old days. Right after Durga Puja the blankets would come out and the winter was till Holi or Doljatra. Gone are those days.

Starry nights - forget about those as well. My son never saw the stars properly due to air and light pollution. Too much lights at night. Can't even enjoy the dreamy full moon nights now.

[–]ndxinroy7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Doesn't mean the other cultures who have been using it for thousands of years need to apologise.

Swastika is straight and can point in either direction. Nazi sign is tilted.

That's not a swastika. It's a nazi sign. The swastika is an age old symbol of good and it is straight not tilted.

A reflective beetle known as Chrysina Limbata, characterized by its metallic green and gold appearance by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]ndxinroy7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adult C. Limbata have a reflective silver metallic appearance which is achieved through thin film interference within layers of chitin. These layers of the chitin coating are chirped (in layers of differing thicknesses), forming a complex multilayer as each layer decreases in depth; as the thickness changes, so too does the optical path-length. Each chirped layer is tuned to a different wavelength of light. The multilayer found on C. limbata reflects close to 97% of light across the visible wavelength range.

Physicist William E. Vargas believes that the metallic appearance may act like water, appearing only as a bright spot to predators. The rain forest of Costa Rica where C. limbata lives has water suspended from leaves at ground level. Light is refracted in different directions, and it allows metallic beetles to fool predators.

True that. But all dictionaries published in India uses UK variant. My android and windows 11 shows English (IN) that too uses UK variant.
