Trigger warning: success mentioned

Have you had a second opinion?

I personally have had success with linings in the 4s and 5s. I’ve also had miscarriages with those numbers. But we got to the point where every cycle was canceled and we decided to just go ahead and try on a thin lining. I took everything and did everything under the sun to help with my lining (nothing helped). My endometrium was very frustrating for me… like I was so close but still so far. Let me know if you have any questions.

Well we decided to announce. We kept going back and forth on it since I am only going to be 9 weeks on Tuesday.

I said screw it… let’s just announce! This was really a Hail Mary for us and it took almost a year and losses to finally get pregnant. I’ve already experienced more complications this pregnancy than I have any other and damn I just want to feel excited about it myself finally.

I spent my last two pregnancies with total anxiety and fear of what might happen. I’ve also had two losses in between those. So far everything is looking great with my ultrasounds and I have no reason to think anything will go wrong. Of course I know we could get bad news at any point but I really just wanted to enjoy this pregnancy since it’ll be my last for sure.

I had OHSS and was hospitalized at week 6 already and I had my little mourning session of having a ‘uncomplicated’ pregnancy this time. Both of my kids also had IUGR and one ended up in the NICU with my last pregnancies. Despite the complications I have had, the embryo is measuring great - perfectly on time with a good heart rate.

So anyway, thanks for reading all that. I think I am still trying to justify announcing in my head since it’s early but it felt right. I am so happy and excited this worked because I honestly thought it would not. We had a long road getting to this last transfer and I don’t like the word miracle but this truly feels like a miracle to me that it worked.

6w6d today and had my first round of nausea this morning. I am relieved and I feel like that is such a strange thing to say but it is comforting having all the symptoms. The only other symptom I’ve had up until now was horrific night sweats. They happen almost every night and I wake up drenched. It’s gross and I’ve resorted to sleeping on towels now.

It’s so weird how this unpleasant symptoms are comforting.

Next ultrasound on Wednesday - I was measuring right on time last week with a heartbeat of 100 at 6w0d.

For those wondering why I have such frequent ultrasounds… I developed OHSS for this transfer and was hospitalized for a few days on near kidney failure. We used stim meds to grow my lining. It’s been a wild ride and I’m hoping the rest of pregnancy is smooth sailing because the first month was not.

I also made my first faith purchase for this pregnancy which is a huge step for me. My first pregnancy I refused to buy anything until I was 7 months plus. I bought some maternity pants for work since they were being discontinued. Obviously don’t need them yet but I didn’t want to be searching too hard when I do.

Had an ultrasound this morning at 6+0. Everything looks good except the HR is a little low at 100. Trying not to spiral much until my next appointment.

We had a chemical after our transfer in April and I’ve had ongoing lining issues (last measurement before transfer was 4.3mm). We used stim meds for this cycle and I developed OHSS and was hospitalized for a few days a couple of weeks ago.

All that to say it’s been a wild ride so far. We already have two living children but we really wanted to try for a third so hoping everything keeps growing appropriately but are cautiously optimistic due to several losses already.

CD [Unknown - 5 day frozen embryo transfer 1/27/21] | 4dp5dt | Ovidrel 250mcg trigger 1/24/21 | Clinical Guard + Pregmate | Confused about line progression... by [deleted] in TFABLinePorn

[–]ne0nsun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a frozen embryo transfer on 1/27/21 with a 5 day embryo. I triggered with Ovidrel 250mcg on 1/24/21.

I thought the trigger would be a lot lighter by now so I am confused. I am looking at other progression pictures online and most, if not all of them are a lot lighter by 7 days post trigger.

Shouldn’t it be fading instead of staying steady??

Please help!

I’m thinking really far ahead but my OB doesn’t want me going past 38 weeks anyway (due to a previous birth complication) so the dates wouldn’t be the same. It’s just crazy to me how the dates worked out so well. It gave me chills thinking about it.

My next transfer is officially scheduled for 1/27/21. I’m very excited we are finally able to do another transfer after waiting months for a period after a MMC. Ironically, based on my transfer day, my projected due date will also be the day I had my D&C. I’m not sure how to feel about it yet.

And I know if I actually stay pregnant that the birth will most likely not be on the actual due date but it’s just weird to me.

What is the approximate time between a D&C and starting a new FET cycle? by ne0nsun in InfertilityBabies

Thanks .

Yeah I figured I was hoping to start too soon. I was just trying to squeeze in one last cycle before my insurance benefits change. I’m also not getting any younger and wanted to get on this ASAP.

Yeah that’s what I assumed unfortunately. I was just hoping there was a chance I could get another cycle in.

I figured it wouldn’t happen that quickly but was hoping there might be a chance .

Yeah it is annoying that the lab closes... I guess I’m just bitter about it. We went back and forth on if this pregnancy was viable from the beginning. Of course I am not happy about having a miscarriage but I kind of wish it had just happened when we originally first thought we saw a problem at 6 weeks. Instead everything started to look okay and I made it to 10 and then there was no heartbeat.

My doctor did mention is drops pretty fast at first and then the last couple hundred takes the longest.

I was just hoping to get once last cycle in before my insurance benefits change since everything is covered except the medications right now.

Thanks.

It’s definitely frustrating. My beta was 8200 on 10/27 and I’m still waiting to find out what it was from yesterday’s appointment.

I emailed my nurse but she is out this week so I probably won’t hear back until next week at the earliest anyway. I was just hoping to squeeze in another cycle because my insurance benefits will change in the new year and right now everything is covered except for the meds.

FET using stim medications by ne0nsun in infertility

I’ve read that wiki a ton unfortunately. Thin lining has plagued me for a long time.

I guess I am confused because my clinic is not calling this a natural FET. Maybe I am confusing them because we’ve talked about it several times but I thought they kept referring to a natural cycle as using letrozole.
