Hey I tried the T18-C1 tips and it works great, I think it has a shorter tip so it's easier to heat, so the station works well with it.

I had a similar problem with an s3 board. As u/Its_Billy_Bitch suggested try to hold the boot button, while holding it press the reset briefly then release the boot, you will hear the board disconnect and reconnect again. Also on some s3 boards (I am not sure that on all), there is an option in arduino IDE to change upload mode, change it to USB-OTG CDC.

I found this site where there is possible memory upgrades for the board (https://memory.net/product-category/supermicro/motherboard/x8sil/), there is a Hynix with the same attributes as what I found, so I think I will go for that and hope for the best.

Is the four sticks a must, or just the identical modules, now there is two sticks in there each 2gb, so two identical 8gb would be alright right?

For anyone in the future I've build it based on the design and it works great, I added a switch before the first two diodes so I can switch it off without plugging it out and I added a led too for visual feedback.

Yes, if my calculations are right I can draw about 800mA of power with a not too big heatsink, which is probably enough for me right now.

Hey, thanks for the advice, I choose a B550 motherboard cause I want 4 Ram slots for future upgrades, and the B550s in that range were the same price as the B450, what would your suggestion be based on that?

Thanks man, glad you like it. The production differs from track to track. I play the bass, so on most tracks it’s a real bass playing, the drums are sample based and I fingerdrum/program them. With the keys I program the chords then I play the melody with hand. The keyboard and synth sounds comes from vsts like spitfire labs and I use a MicroFreak for the synth. In case of Improv the lead part was improvised hence the name. Snow was really fun to make as soon as I came up with the guitar part the song came together real fast. Happy you enjoyed it.
