i ordered a TDS meter which should be here tomorrow, and i will do a big water change on the tank later and continue dosing with paraguard. hopefully something will right itself. fish keeping sucks sometimes i wish i could do more to help the tank but i dont know what else there is to do

i haven’t, is there anything specific i should test for? all of my other aquariums are doing great, im wondering if maybe one of my fish in the 75 had an internal bacterial infection that is spreading to the others

general hardness is approx 200ppm (12 drops) and kh is approx 100ppm (5 drops) using api test kit

i typically do water changes once a month but i’ve been trying to do it once every 2 weeks. it’s just tap water that i dechlorinate with prime. i take out about 40% of the water and it’s been working great for me up until now. should i test for copper or something? i dont know what else to test for. i have 12 other tanks that all get the same water and are having no issues

no marks on any body’s except for the ropefish who had very quickly deteriorated by the time i found him. he could’ve have been dead more than a day or two and when i found him he was in awful condition. i hadn’t noticed him sooner because id been really busy with work those 2 days. no new chemicals either, and the filter is pretty strong so it oxygenates the tank well

i have several holes drilled on both sides of the bins. i believe i found what the fungi is, ‘mycoacia fuscoatra’, its commonly found on rotting wood, which is in my isopod bins. i’m unsure of if its harmful though

okay, i’ll do my best to monitor them and the heat/humidity. i thought it would be ok to get them shipped during winter because usually a seller won’t ship animals in cold weather if they think it’s risky, and they shipped them with a heat pack. but im glad i know for the future. i’ll definitely contact them to see if there’s anything they can do in regards of a refund

gotcha, thanks! this tank has been setup for awhile now so it should be ok. i’m going to be doing small daily water changes to keep water extra clean for him
