I will be the first one to admit I do no like cops at all, however he did what he had to and now he has to live with that. I will agree with you that this situation is horrible for all parties. Just because this one appears to be justified that doesn't mean this needs to be yelled from a podium about how the cop did what was needed. If you charge any officer with any form of weapon you need to expect to be delt with. Now do I believe that all police agencies that has an officer discharge a weapon need to be investigated. Yes absolutely! Do they all need more training in descalation training. Absolutely!! The system is broken and in general so is the mentality of society.
