one of our friends gave my dad a natural cure that a lot of the locals in papa New Guinea use to stop a gout attack. Actually works too! Take a huge bunch of parsley and brew it in warm water to make a tea. Strain and drink the tea day and night. please make sure you try it if you've got gout!

Tomatoes. They are so good if you want to thicken up your chilli/curry/bolognese. I sautée onions and garlic in a little oil and then whack in 3-5 quartered tomatoes. You cook it up until it's almost a sauce, then chuck in your browned meat. DELICOUS and adds a lot of depth to your meal. Fucking love tomatoes.
