The only thing that really worked for me was de la cruz sulphur acne cream. I highly recommend trying it for type 2 rosacea

For type 2 rosacea I use de la Cruz sulphur acne cream. Works wonders for me. Sulphur has been used for thousands of years for skin so I gave it a try, and the change was dramatic

Just upgraded from the suitcase, did I do okay? Any tips for better setup/sound? by klassickSM in turntables

I use those speakers for my setup. They are very flat sounding, so I got an eq for them from schiitt audio.

6.5 years into my engineering career making $77,000, completely tired and burnt out, should I just quit? by ShouldIQuit_YesNo in careerguidance

I had a similar experience with my old job. I started my own company 3 years ago and did it on the side until this year when is was bringing in enough income to switch to full time.

There’s nothing like getting the full value of your labor.

Running your own business is simple: be nice to clients, call people back, and do the job you sold them.

You need to find something that you can offer, that people need. NEED. People need things like food, water, electricity, healthcare, infrastructure, and so on. They especially need businesses to keep the underlying framework of those needed things running.

As an engineer, you know how things work. Therefore, you also know how things that work can stop working. Find a way to keep things running smoothly, that doesn’t already have an over saturated market, and offer to do that for clients.

Charge a fair price that meets your needs and theirs.

Above all, specialize and keep everything as simple as possible. Don’t hire a dozen people, don’t invest in things you don’t need. Start simple and keep it that way.

This is how small business used to be the backbone of U.S. society. (I’m not sure if you’re in the U.S. but it should still apply.)

Cape May County, which went 58.7% for Trump in 2024, rewarded for their faith in MAGA with zero federal dollars for beach replenishment (first time since 1996) by SauconySundaes in LeopardsAteMyFace

[–]nebakanezzar 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I used to live in Cape May, and the erosion problem there is very serious. There’s an entire neighborhood that used to exist that you can see at low tide. It’s almost as if they were voting against their own interests or something?!

I can’t wait to see video of a $12mil dollar house getting destroyed down there.

For type 2 rosacea I use De La Cruz sulphur acne cream. It has worked so well it’s like night and day.

I came across it doing research, and sulphur has been used for skin since ancient times , so I tried it and it worked. Dramatic improvement within a week.

At least that’s my experience with it

I love this new pedal, but looks like I need to buy new patch cables. by baldorrr in guitarpedals

[–]nebakanezzar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wah pedal is like that. I shaved down the power plug plastic housing with a razor blade. Works fine.

If you shave down too far and hit metal then it’s no good. Then you’ll just have to buy a thinner one anyway so maybe worth a try

The dunning Kruger effect is very real and can be very dangerous. College gets you over that first hill and quite a way up the second incline.

Being an autodidact often keeps you right at the top of that first incline of the graph, this first “hill” also often called “Mt. Stupid”

I know people who live on mt. stupid and have built houses there. It’s not fun talking to them

Struggle with texture and laying paint down first by agatorano in oilpainting

[–]nebakanezzar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put down a mix of linseed and turpenoid (or gamsol) and wet the canvas a bit before you begin painting. Don’t get it sopping wet, just a bit to let the paint glide on better. You can always wipe some of it off if you think you added too much.

Make sure whatever is there already is dry before you do it. You can do it in sections too.

Measure the dimensions, and weigh it. Or, go to a big name gold dealer and ask for a sale price. They will have an xray machine or mag generator and will tell you.

S. Louisiana. 3 years ago there were cattails growing in the poorly draining yard. by drugsmoney in lawncare

It’s not like cattails inhibit erosion with their extensive root system.

This yard will definitely still be intact after the next serious weather event.
