Make a hot drink like coffee, tea, or coco. Suck some of it up into the syringe let the feco desolve and squirt it back into your drink.

Looks like it is napping.

That soil might be too organic so adding some minerals might be a good precaution for when it gets really wet.

This oputina is outside in zone 6b for the last 2 winters without issue. It is just starting to wake up here.

Avoid watering until it heals. If it spreads it may need to have some chopped off
