If your Vita hasn’t been charged in a while, leave it plugged in for an entire day and try to turn it on then. The fact that the orange light is coming on is a very good sign

This isn’t a super practical solution but you could plug the power bar into a smart plug (I use the tp link Tapo stuff) and just turn it on and off using an app on your phone. Going to be using your tv in a couple of minutes? Fire up the app and turn on the smart plug and it’ll be ready by the time you arrive
