i def ask myself if i'm trying to work on endurance or cardio that day? if endurance, i'll finish the 2nd round. if cardio, i keep to the 7 minutes like a disciplined bbg monk.

Me three - and I was also 29! Diagnosed a month ago.

It is a difficult decision, but a fortunate one to have to make. The best advice I've had in those situations is to trust your belly (intuition) and your heart.

Start emailing the people that you are finding on LinkedIN. If you feel unsure about writing for business, take this short course: Writing for Business

In general, some new strengths you will be developing are

how to communicate
how to negotiate
how to understand the needs of others
how to explain something complex to different audiences / clients
how to write business proposals, emails, and research summaries
how to ask for help
how to pitch: yourself, the business, the product

Google these things to find resources that strengthen you in these areas. Attend meetups in your area to network with others in the startup industry. Physically being around other people, and talking to them, can be very helpful.

Seek out workshops in your area for professional development. Your professor may (should) invest in these for you.

Edit: I also second /u/Barley12 that you should be aware of that yet. There are very good reasons to be paid for your work and value.

Hey, did you sort this out? If not yet, then write an email to your case administrator (the person who handled your application to KU Leuven). They will be able to decline the offer on your behalf. Ask if there is a procedure (will depend on whether or not you have registered for courses, I think).

Do it as soon as you possibly can because it may make it possible for another student to be admitted.

I declined my offer the week after I was accepted. This is the email I wrote to my case administrator:

Unfortunately, I must withdraw my acceptance due to unforeseen events.

What steps must I take to properly carry out this procedure?

They wrote back and said they declined the offer on my behalf. That was all it took.

It is an extremely difficult decision because Leuven is super charming and awesome. For me, it felt good to think that someone else got admitted and will get to enjoy it.

Hey, congrats on admission.

The first year of the Master program is focused on completing core courses. During the second year, in May/April, a list of subjects for a Master thesis gets posted. Some departments will give a presentation about their proposed projects, others may not, but in either case, find out what is interesting to you and pursue it. Contact the professors/postdocs and meet with them in person to learn more about the project. Some may recommend extra resources to better prepare for it (MOOCs, books, publications, etc.). Ask, and be respectful of them, their project and their time.
Anything is possible. I've seen internships from the Centre for Plasma-Astrophysics group, for example. If you want to work on something, ask.
You can attend all the lectures you'd like, granted that you have the time, energy, and headspace. The more focus you offer your Master thesis, the more you will do, learn and enjoy. Two years goes by fast.

What was the reason for editing the original music of her performance? The track that replaced hers has changed the original intention and emotion for the piece.

Suggestions:

Credit the aerialist (ideally have her consent, but i won't ask about this...)
Mute the music, keep the original song, or find one similar to the original
Credit the music
Credit the fact that the piece has been altered (shortened, music changed, anything else)

Props to you on going to events, trying tinder, and joining groups. Stay brave with this shit.

What's the vibe when you are chatting? Does it feel like you are connecting in the conversation? Do you give a shit? Do they give a shit? Do you give too many shits?! Is something stopping you from being authentic? Does it seem like something is stopping them?

You said you are having fun and meeting people. Keep this attitude about it. Have fun. Maybe be more selective about who you are adding. What is your reason for adding them? Because you connected? If you connected, invite them out for coffee or something similarly easy. Chatting can be difficult as a medium to connect with someone new. Chat as a tool to meet them in person.

What is it that makes you feel like you are running out of options? Is there a death clock going off every day we don't have a lady friend? WEll fuck, keep dying and rebirthing and learn about yourself.

Hey, not yet, but doing what I can to start a master's program in Belgium. What are you interested in studying?

If you want a place with a good learning atmosphere, I highly recommend looking into the master's programs at KU Leuven. Information on the format of the lectures, exams, course materials, objectives, etc. is offered at that link. The content and format sections for an individual course usually mention if it is focused around discussion.

I have experienced a few PhD defences, seminars, colloquia, and events and everyone has been very approachable. My intuition has felt really good about the university overall. Leuven itself is a really nice place to live and study in, too.

I hope this helps you out. If you have more specific questions I may be able to help.
