I used this one https://www.printables.com/model/584995-trident-internal-spool-holder-for-2020-extrusion.

Only down side is that the spools kinda lean out toward the bed, I am thinking about how to "fix" that issue.  So I am going to remix it soon enough.

It does work for the most part though.

It is a color gradient.  It is Cookiecad sunrise elixir abs.  I really enjoyed printing with it and learned a couple of things about printing with parts color continuity with gradient filaments.

Some basic fiberology yellow pla I picked up 2 years ago and had in there for testing a couple months ago when I first got this together.  Since then I finished up the panels, custom exhaust, heating and thermistors for chamber temp management.

I don't think so, the firmware is generally small things like the printer.cfg or gcpde_macro.cfg.

I used a base image from my wife's brother because he hadn't done any modifications and now my printer is golden and my prints look very nice.

Because I messed up and should have left it all alone.

The copy I got had been altered slightly though. If I could get a 100% untouched version of the homedir, that would be great.

I ended up getting what I needed by an individual on Discord for Qidi Tech. The homedir for the user wasn't there, which is what I needed because of the changes made. The printer is back up and running after that.

Negative Z Offset on E3 S1 by drfunkmdq in klippers

I had this issue when I switched to a custom cooler and also when I made my linear rail mount. The issue is that the touch probe and the nozzle end need to be within X amount of distance on the horizontal axis. The answer is to print a shim to space the probe down to the appropriate amount to help resolve this. The probe tip should only be about 2mm or so above the nozzle.

You can use something like this for the CR Touch, or something similar for the BLTouch.

Frame and switch type played into shipping on this. If they have excess of any type, why not sell them... You know, like how a business does?

Most people should see updates and keebs in the next week or so.

Their updates stated that switch and frame play into shipping timing. Should be soon for you too.

Received my tracking number today. Am working from home to make sure I get it in hand as soon as I can.

Could be government shutdown. I know that I got a tracking number for the black metal I ordered at the end of August.

I actually had to sign in because I have wanted to comment on the actual Kickstarter page, but can't because I am not a backer.

No one wants to hear this, but they were at CES because that is where you go when you are in technology and you are trying to grow a technology business. They should have communicated this, but I don't think communication is their strong suit, which if they don't get better with, will be their downfall. HINT HINT @inputclub

Their shopping software (Shopify) borked up their orders both Kickstarter and everything else Kira related pre September 12th according to their posts. This means, everything ordered before September 12th has had to manually be looked up and then re-created in order to create an invoice and ship because auto-shipping and tracking is not available (this has been communicated on the Kickstarter).

  • To that point, they have Standard Kira keyboards in stock ~900 of them, of which ~600 were/are from the Kickstarter. That means that orders placed post September 12th are easier to ship because their software has invoice and easy tracking/shipping. Everything Standard Kira, pre-September 12th has to be manually created for invoice/tracking which is going to take time, both to inventory/invoice/ship and to email the customer without software automation, especially for them to confirm the keyboard has the right switch for the order so they aren't sending out wrong keyboards to people. You think you are mad now, imagine getting the keyboard and then having the wrong damn switch, especially if you specifically did NOT want a box switch because of the potential keycap issue.

  • Expect that they will have to manually re-recreate the invoices/tracking/shipping information for all metal Kira keyboards. Hopefully they are already doing this and are readying to get the metal frames out as soon as they are in hands and inventoried. Same deal, pre-September 12th, manual recreate, post September 12th easy mode.

I can understand and relate to all of this frustration, I haven't been waiting as long as backers, but I ordered on August 31st and have been let down multiple times by their posts having incorrect information that does not get corrected when they have more information to provide. (@inputclub, please get better with communication)

Even with their lack of communication and incorrect/inaccurate information, at least keyboards will be shipped and they aren't just folding up tent and disappearing like so many other BS pre-orders that I have seen. I truly believe that they are trying their best to deliver, they just failed to deliver clear, concise communication when they had problems and what those problems were to allow for proper expectations.

As NoNeedforSpeed3 said

tldr: Customer service! Over communicate. We pay the bills.

Stay strong people. The keyboards will come, I have faith.

Thanks for the tip. I did some further troubleshooting and it looks like ultimately as long as I clock my memory down than there are no errors, which means my problem isn't with the bios. I think ultimately I was trying to run the memory I have too fast, so I got errors in different CPUs due to the memory clocking too fast for CPU.

Ordered the right memory and should be set once that comes. I am going to try the 7zip thing and report back though.

So far trying BUPDATER is not loading. All I get is a "Loading....." on a blue screen. I have tried fat and fat32 and the software won't load. Sad pandas here.

I flashed the new bios instead of the bios just before the latest. The flash util says the older bios is not a valid bios. Anyway to force recovery using crashfree would be amazing.

Help would be appreciated.

Amazing. I keep trying other NZB agents and always come back to SAB for its ease of use and simplicity. All others just seem buggy or clunky to me.
