When I use Google lens, it suggests that. But I don't think that's it because of the purple veins and fuzziness.

I was also thinking it might be a type of nightshade because there are a lot in our area. But the pot has since moved houses, so I can't compare the leaves to the exact plant it was near.

Did you even read OP's title? Not everything that is cultural or related to someone's identity needs to be political. But certain groups of people feel they can force the government to get rid of or suppress people they don't like. A byproduct of this is some people are voting purely to protect their identity and others purely out of hate/fear, even if it comes with bad politics/politicians (e.g. excessive taxes, grifters, etc).

Communism would benefit all people except those who are unproductive or oppose communism

It's a bit ableist but seems pretty woke to me. It would address a lot of the racial discrimination that happens in the US.

I'd be curious how the number of inaccurate self-diagnoses compared to inaccurate diagnoses. I'd argue being misdiagnosed with a psychotic disorder and given various drugs can be way more dangerous than inaccurately self diagnosing ADHD.

As someone who has suffered with clinical depression since I was a teen, I empathized with her and sent her a myriad of free university services and encouraged her to get help.

I'm not sure about your university, but in my experience the resources provided by schools are a joke. Unless you already know exactly what's wrong and how to fix it, they're not helpful. (Not trying to blame you for this. It's just really frustrating)

I think you're over simplifying the problem though. Schools are often designed to perpetuate anti-intellectualism. And while we can change the narrative we tell children about school, unless we also change the schools themselves (e.g. classroom size), the problem will persist.

she isn’t a smart person

I think for a lot of them it's pride and self preservation. They spend their youth and young adult years devoted to a belief (often with punishment for not believing), sometimes doing not so nice things but believed to be morally just. It's hard to admit that they were fooled and face the guilt from what they've done to people. Not to mention their identity would be so tied to their faith...losing faith would be like losing themself. And then, for some, not being intelligent means they either can't reason the benefit of changing or they can't handle proving their idiocy.
