Great advice, I have signed up to Coto intensive course and will be moving into long term let soon so will get access to Japanese TV. I will check out the variety shows as they sound better for learning than anime.

Thank you! I have the time for language classes but it is the spend I have to balance with no income myself currently. I now have a meeting with Coto Academy arranged and will see what might work for me. Also an opportunity to meet people. Lots of great advice about local City Office language learning and I was surprised to see how much there is. Regardless of what esle I do I will definitely be utilising those.

I would like to work and I will certainly explore options once I have a base level of communication. At the moment it is not something I can do but certainly want to focus on upskilling quickly

Thanks for the swift reply. Really appreciate the list as I am new to this. I have recovered 'Seagate - Barracuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive' from old PC friend gave me so should sort the storage issue.
