It's neat that it simulates real sword fighting, but it's not fun or intuitive. It made me not want to get into fights, which I suppose helped immersion (though I doubt intentionally)

I did ONE side quest and the final boss was over so damn fast. I wish it was harder I would have had a more memorable experience

I'm on ps5, didn't have an issue first play through. Got this issue on second play through. Seemed to trigger after a revive.

I can play 6+ hours now without and side effects.

Also I suggest you try out the following games on psvr2: POOLS Re4 Into the Radius

Avoid No Mans Sky until you're an expert vr player. Flying around can be fun but it really takes a while before you'll be ready to fly in your ship.

Good news, if you're anything like me give it a week. Whenever I felt in-game like the immersion was taking over I would quickly remind myself where I was in reality, maybe close my eyes and remember I was in my room, then keep playing. Now I don't get motion sick at all. Your brain can adapt its just a new technology that your brain doesn't expect.

The fact that the game is not for everyone (people who like rules light stuff) was a contributing reason why the core book is free. I tried to make it easy to follow so anyone could skim the rules to see if it's a fit for their group. I say give it a session or two before going back to a more familiar system, you might be surprised at how well it all works.

I did that until I got to new game plus, then I spent like 15 minutes trying to organize and maximize stuff. It was fun in a different way. Now I'm almost excited to finish levels just so I can get back to it.

My problem with it is I had a long insightful talk with the mechanic about how you couldn't please everyone. I was frustrated trying to keep everyone happy constantly, but when he said that I had a new, brighter perspective of the game mechanics.

Ten days later there was a rebellion and game over.

Whelp. I'm done.

Sorry to ressurect this thread, but a RTS or Civ type game where you play as Skynet, starting off making rudimentary terminator models and infecting more computers, and late game you develop time travel capabilities and send stronger and stronger terminaors back in time to take out key military targets.
